im talking about a road course. i wish i started racing when my car had just brakes, tires, and suspension. i started autocrossing with too much power for a novice. it's still a lot to handle, and i am considering eventually building something with under 200whp when i can afford another project. sadly, id have a lot more fun. ill definitely check that autocross with you on the 12th.

i am going to invite the other forums after i register on the sites.

i'm getting excited about this (again ), and i think its going to be a great event. i am going to have to pm the original attendees and see if they are still interested. the delay might have killed some of it.

I'm a maybe for the 11th. My car currently isn't really in shape for spirited driving, but if I can get it back into shape by then I'd like to go.

this is going to be a lot of driving! 511 miles and 12 hours 16 minutes round trip for me! should be a lot of fun.

 

I changed my oil 9 days ago, and will need another one by the time I get back from this run 1100 mile round trip + 300 miles of around-town a bit over a week ago, including a 16 hour trip back with tons of detours (https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-multimedia-photo-gallery-6/skyline-drive-pics-176817/)... I am pounding through my odometer...

Why have a car other than to drive it

I'm sorry guys, but I have to back out. I really want to go, but financially, I shouldn't, not this weekend. Heart vs brain war right now, and brain is winning. Things are too tight right now, and it just wouldn't be responsible of me.
