I will try to come, what to bring is the question. My FD or 8. I'm getting 300rwhp with the FD, so maybe that is the one.

 

C'mon guys, this meet is getting a decent response on the Rx7 boards, I wanna see some 8's there as well. I think there will be a turboed Rx8 there.

MikeDemo, wanna cruise down with me, a buddy with a third gen from Oreland and another 7 owner from the Villanova area? If you are coming from MD, obviously not, but if you are in PA that day, we'd love to drive down as a group. Anyone else?

Mike, somewhere in Flourtown would be great. We can shoot over to the Blue Route going the back way (Flourtown Rd to Plymouth Rd) and be on the way. We'll figure out a time and exact spot within the next week or so. Lemme know if that is cool, if not we'll figure something else out.

 

Yeah thats cool with me. Just let me know and I'll be there. By the by, I live right off Township Line Rd and Butler so Flourtown rd. and Plymouth are right down the street. But yeah, we'll figure soemthing out once the date gets closer.

 

OK, how many of you guys plan on attending this gathering? I really would like to see a good turn out.

 

Dan and I are talking about leaving around 11AM. As Mike says lets see the 8 represented.

ive already talked to the kahunaville rep responsible for the sunday shows..
its advised that the core of the attendees arrive together so that space can be allocated for the entire group..
theres a check-in involved and as long as i can provide a number for the group...the number of spots can be justified without question...
stragglers will be adjusted for as needed but may be separated from the core group if not accounted for initially..
they suggested arrival time of 11-12...
taking recommendations on where to meet up before entering the show..
either junior dragster or toys for tots will be the scheduled event for that day.. of which ill confirm
local radio station will be present as well..
rain date will be the following sunday...

 

the preference is for all to drive in together..
this will ensure all attendees to be in located as a group...
its a show.. so the spots are assigned..
my suggestion is as follows..
for those in the jersey side to meet up at the last rest stop on the njtp.. 11am
for those comin from pa/de to meet up at the 95 rest stop scrub is referrin to.. 11:30am
the jersey caravan would meet up with the pa/de folks...

 

although havin taken 3 hours to get to work this am due to ice..
and havin just looked outside the window.. snow
and with the weekend weather outlook makes me wonder if this is even gonna happen this sunday..

 

There has got to be some 8 owners in PA, NJ, DE or MD who are coming (weather allowing of course). I am bringing my FD, but I want to meet some other 8 owners. I hate to beg, but come on. I want to see you. Really I want to see your cars, but its nicer to say I want to see you. J/K

 

Sorry I missed the meet in Wilmington especially living so close by. Let me know of maybe a spring meet up and count me in!!

 

Mcballz13, you didn't miss anything, both the original date and the rain date were cancelled due to bad weather. We are talking about a meet in the late winter, early spring so stay tuned and we will all get to meet up sooner or later. I'll look for you on the road, I am in Glenside

 

Count me in for the next meet. I'll be picking up my 8 from NuCar next week. My handle will change from Go4It to Went4It. This has been a great site to gather information. I now know all my problems and fixes before I take the car down the road. Look forward to meeting all you drivers. I'm out of Delaware County, Pa.
