It's with a heavy heart

that I must inform you all of my beautiful 2005 Whitewater Pearl RX-8.

I doubt any of you remember me, but being a forum of RX-8 owners and lovers, I thought I should come back one last time.

The backstory is basically; I moved downtown and parked the 8 at my grandparents since I had no need for it and wanted to keep the mileage low. My mother took it upon herself to (basically) steal it, to which she took it out on a job (she does estimates, so LOTS of driving...) and totaled it. She wasn't paying attention, went through an intersection and got hit.

I know someone will mention I should have turned her in, and believe me, I would have loved to. Unfortunately, since I was 19 when I purchased the car and didn't have the credit to finance a $20k+ car, her name was on it. So it was, by law, hers too.

I had less than 50,000 miles on her and she was to be paid off in less than a year.

May she RIP.

I might get another in the future, but it just isn't practical for me to get a car right now.
