I need someones help! - Car not starting up!

When the dealership deflooded her engine they should have checked atleast the spark plugs, since the proper procedure require removing them. Although, the correct procedure and the procedure performed are probablly two completely different things.

After flooding your engine, make sure you drive it like you stole it for a little while to help clear out everything. Your issue could be a clogged cat since you are experiencing this after a flooded engine( <-- known to dramatically reduce the lifespan). Good Luck.

I just got new spark plugs and they are saying that this is due to a Torque Converter Lockup. (TCL) TCL are only suppose to happen during low speeds from what I remember becuase this **** happened to me last year around this time.
Last year it was doing this **** betwwen 25-35mph and it was between 2K-3K rpm now its doing it all the time and they are telling me that there is NOTHING that they can do about it and for me to just drive it. How the **** am I suppose to drive this thing on the highway then if I slow down I have no ******* horsepower to accelerate it again!
Sorry for my cursing boys but I am one pissed off portuguese women!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate to say this but if I still didnt owe money on this car, I would have traded this thing in. I am going to ride this thing like a phscyo B$TCH and if nothing changes in a week like nothing is cleaning out by its own, I am contacting MNAO and cussing them out!

How many miles on the car and when was it purchased? Also, if you're the second owner, do you have a carfax report to see when it was purchased initially?
Theres a 4 year 50,000 mile warranty on the Drivetrain. TC would be included in that.

It had 8K on it and now it has 62K. I had this car for almsot 3 years. I got it used in 06, I got a car fax on it and nothing was wrong with it or has not been into accidents with it or anything.
Here is one of my first posts here. It was in June or 2008 under Thread, " Attention! AT Owners must rev their engines to at least 6000 RPM every other day."
So as you all can see, I have tried making a big deal with this with Mazda. During the time my car had between 35-40K on it when I had the TCM Logic installed to my car.
I am just so pissed off how any dealership or car corporation can basically say, "sorry but there is no fix for that" Its funny how this problem did stop last year becuase I was starting to use it in Manumatic alor more and driving it like an *** on the road. Now that it flooded its doing this **** again but at high speeds? Makes no sense to me. I am not a happy customer with Mazda right now.

My car I believe is having that issue of the torque converter lock up. I brought it several times to the dealership and its still under warranty and there is nothing that they can do to fix it except putting in a TCM Logic wich helps reduce the problem by 50% and not 100%
What my deal was is that at low speeds, (I have an AT) it was bucking like getting stuck between 2 and 3rd gear. It couldnt make up its mind. So I just wanted to let everyone know that what everyone is saying about this issue is very much true and I will now drive it in manual mode more often and drive my car so it red lines at least once every other day
Thanks for the advice all.

I would use your service history to your advantage. I would call MNAO and explain the issue. Then explain the "resolution" offered by the dealership and how you are still having the same problem and your dealership mechanics claim there is no fix. They can see that when you had it "fixed" you were under warranty and if you complain enough, may be able to get them to authorize a tranny replacment. This would be your best shot since you were under warranty when it was "repaired" and if there is "no 100% fix" then I bet a new tranny would fix it. This is trickery and avoiding mfg warranty repairs and thats how I would play it.

UPDATE: Its been 3 weeks and my car still has that damn issue. I have brought it back to the dealership a couple of times and they are telling me that there is not fix for it. So I am bringing my car to a different Mazda dealership this coming Monday (4/20)
All I can tell you all is that the dealership that normally deals with my car told me that if I had bad coils, sparkplugs, or if the timing was off (which I told them to take a look at becuase its not driving right) they said that if any of those were the case my car wouldnt even be working now. They told me if I dont have a check engine light on then there is nothing that they can do about it. So as you can all see......... I AM PISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSED!

How about some local owner-sourced help? Altspace, you are closest to her I think. I wouldn't mind the drive, but I wouldn't be able to do anything till the weekend, and then only Saturday morning I think, unless you were willing to drive at least part-way towards me.
Not saying we could definitely fix it, but we might be able to diagnose a bit more accurately than the dealership. The lock-up diagnosis doesn't really make sense to me.

If someone near by could stop by and see if they could offer some perspective - i think it would help out greatly.

Hey Kimmy, if you want some help, I talked to my dealership that helps me with EVERYTHING and they can help out. They're great, good priced and they won't F you. I advertise for them on my blog and all so they lurve me. :D But I mean I may come down with CanofWorms to help out if you need it, but that dealership is great and really has helped me out, regardless of my mods and all that.

Honestly guys, it sounds like to me that the dealership that I was taking my car too was not even checking out anything to be honest with you. I have the biggest feeling that they just drove it, experienced what I was experiencing and was like yup you are right its a TCL and there is no fix.
I am game if anyone wants to meet up with me on Saturday. I have no plans except just washing my car becuase its going to be nice out this weekend! FINALLY! lol
If no one is available no biggie becuase like I said I am taking it to another Mazda dealership in Quincy. Whatever you all do, do not bring your car ever to the Mazda dealership in Raynham becuase the f'n suck!
The intake on my car should be good considering I put in a new air filter last summer but I dont know too much about cars so their is probably more to it than just the airfilter for intake?
Thanks again for all your help and advice guys, you all rock!

Yeah sure. I have to be back in Providence by ~3pm, but I am definitely up to head over and see if we can get a better diagnosis Saturday morning. If it is related to the automatic transmission, then I won't be of much help, but my gut tells me it isn't transmission related.
PM incoming.
