Highest Insurance rate!!!

I think I have the highest insurance rate. I was quoted $5,800 for a year just for the Rx-8. $5,500 total if I had my Camery on there too. I'm 22, nj, and one not at fault accident. Currently I have encompass insurance. I tried NJcure but they never emailed me back. Anyone with better rates?

Try GEICO. They quoted me $800 a year less than Allstate is charging me.

You might want to try Esurance www.esurance.com. But there have been a number of complaints of not renewing policies or jacking up the renewal price. Hmmm. bait and switch.

add a car reduce your payment???? I like that!!

On Topic: I'd suggest Libery Mutual....I'm also 22, first time with a car in my name, first time with insurance in my name....2 tickets and an accident (within the last 4 years) and I'm paying $1300 a year. My agent says the car counts as a 4-door as far as they are concerned and was able to reduce my payment significantly because of that.

Liberty Mutual has just about the highest rates in Mass. Over 5k a year is way too much. I started off with Progressive since they give you their price and an approximation of what other companies will charge. I went with Amica and I pay $1386 per year. I am a step 11 in Mass (Step 15 means standard rates, anything under that means a discount off the standard set rate).

American Family Insurance = $78.00 a month
No accidents or tickets for over 15 years.
My insurance company rates my 8 as a "4 door, 2 cyl, AT"

I'd shop around...
5+k a year is a sucker punch!
Good luck!

I slipped on black ice and flipped my 4runner. Is that counted as an at fault accident? The popo said no and my insurance agent said it wasnt even on my record?

If you want to save money with Geico... choose Limited Tort.. it means you can't sue for minor accidents, but major ones you can.

I pay $4080 a year through Progressive for my RX-8 and Miata. $100 deductibles and full coverage.

Clean driving record and no accidents or claims and I'm 38.

I've shopped quotes from all of the major insurance companies and they quote about the same amount, give or take $250.
