Hi, I just wanted to let you locals know that this 04 RX8 was just checked into my local junkyard. I just bought the exhaust (Borla) and suspension (Tein coil overs). The car had an engine fire, but the rest of the car is still there in great shape. Beautiful car, it's too bad it burned.









It's at RH Willsons in Pepperell MA (978-433-2503). Ask for Lou, he is apparently the guy handling this car.

Did they give you a ballpark on a price for the car?

They did, because I was considering a rwd 4G63 (EVO 8 style) engine swap. Unfortunately it was definitely too much money. They intentionally priced it super high because they have never had an RX8 at that yard before were pretty dead set on parting it out. They are trying to figure out if it is a profitable car to buy at auctions or not. If it works, we can count on them having more in the future

can anyone tell if this car has a sunroof or not, Im looking for a headliner without the sunroof cutout, Ill have to call in the morning...
