The rotary club meets once a month (Nuke's post), but they're meeting on your side of the water in Grafton this weekend. If you're on the Beach side, there's a cool meet at Jenro's every Saturday evening from 3PM on. All kinds of cars, nothing formal. On nice nights, guys will trailer in cars. I'd say it's mostly muscle cars with a decent number of imports. Jenro's is at the south-west corner of the Independence Blvd and Haygood Road intersection in VA Beach. It's a little coffee shop in a strip mall with the cars out in the lot along the main roads.

The 40th Anniversary edition was on the showroom floor at Priority Mazda on Greenbrier in Ches. I work right down the street, and couldn't resist a quick stop while passing by one day on my lunch hour.

The new keyless entry setup is pretty cool. If you haven't seen it, it's basically a credit card that you keep in your pocket. As long as your within so many feet of the vehicle, you push the button on the driver side door handle and the door unlocks.....okay, I can see a few ways this might not be a good thing.

I've heard the '09 comes out soon too?

Made a install thread full of pics of all the parts I have ordered and finally got around to installing... (with help from Nuke0907, Jskup1, and Ricky over at Stock Or Modified)

Yeah once I get the flippin time I need to have them undent and repaint the bottom sides of my car... Usually how long is the turnover jjwash?

Oh and not even a month in and already got curb rash on one of my new wheels and on another the lip is bent a lil (hampton shitty roads) I think Imma end up buying a beater for my DD

Anyone going to the Team Top End / Sumospeed car show tomorrow (Sunday March 2nd). Looks like it will be pretty cool... There is going to be a ton of cars out there.

Show starts at noon... Unless you want to show your car, then registration is at 11.

I got there late, so I missed Jon & Dan, but I did get to see JJWASH's new nose. Very, very nice. There were several FC's and Calvin with his 1st gen plus another 8, a Nordic Green driven by Rudy, who I hope will join the gang more often.

 

Yeah, I had to leave early. One of my bud's was back for a weekend and we went out to Otani's at 7.

I guess i got there right after you left Jskup. We all have to coordinate better... We finally got some 8's to show to the meet and we all come at different times lol. Maybe next time...

 

That was my first meet and it was very cool to meet with other rotor heads. When given the chance I will definitely be there more often and hopefully here soon the build on my 8 will start.

 

sorry i missed the meet. i had an awesome time in Savannah for St. Patrick's day weekend though.
