Can anybody recommend any tinters in the NYC/LI area? Also, has anybody in this area know who does Huper Optik ceramic tint? Or has gotten it done?

greddy i dunno what kinda tint they got but ive seen the work from All Island Window Tinting.. always looks good. I will get the number when i get outta work

also if u find a good place let me know i might be down to get tints wiht ya maybe we could get a deal

 

I got mine done at a place called Grafik Dezign in Deer Park. I got a 35% all around and it came out AWESOME. No bubbles, no scratches. Plus it has a lifetime gaurantee.

And it only cost me $145.

I made an appointment with this guy I found off of this online tinting forum. His website is http://www.theartoftint.com/ if you want to check it out. He quoted me $200 for the Llumar tint. The only thing is that he's all the way in Brooklyn, not sure if you'd want to travel that far to get tint. I'm supposed to meet him at 10:30am this Saturday but that $145 place in deer park that RX8Lover mentioned is sounding pretty attractive. Let me know what you think.

yeah, he did it in 1 piece, and he said it was actually really easy. My car was in and out in 45 minutes.

 

ima look into the deer park place.. but i just got slammed with a $1300 (higher education sux!) bill so looks like ima wait a month for tints

 

Ooh bills are never good news! I'll let you know how mine goes, I'm going to stick with my original plan and goto this guy even though he charges more. I'm in Queens so Deer Park is a little farther for me.
