what was rotorfest? Link...

I have been wanting to get all the mazda's in one place for years. i have owned the FORD PROBE turbo and we have had a very successfully run at that in Myrtle Beach for the past 10 years. I have also owned a 1988 4ws 626 turbo, 2002 protege5, 2005 mazda6 v6 and now my baby a 2006 mazdaspeed6!!

Outside of its problems that i have had with mazda's i still love my mazda's. I just think that it would be a nice site to see all gens, makes and models of mazda's in one place enjoying themselves. I am also going to send a letter to mazda to see if they are willing to help with this meet in anyway. But i need to have something to show them. By all of your positive responces toward this meet i can send that to them to show there is an interest.

Also for those that want to learn about other models of what ever year, they will get a good insite at this meet. Also not to make a huge challenge from one model to the next. But since we are going to have it at the track we can see who is the king or the road.

This is just a feeler thread to see the interest in the meet. If anyone has any suggestions on how to make this meet any better i welcome your comments. Once i get a good feel as to what everyone is looking for then i will address each one of those needs.

There is no date as of yet for this meet. But i am looking at sometime in the summer months if not the spring when the weather breaks and everyone is itching to get their cars back on the road. So please come out and support this meet it will be a great time.

UPDATE:

I have been told that i need to set up a date for the meet. The date the i am shooting for is july 26. I have sent out letters to mazda usa to see if they will be interested in this meet. ALso see if they are intested in posting this meet in their magazine for more exposure. I am currently awaiting an email back from summit raceway about the meet.

i have been on many different boards getting support from other mazda owners that want to see this meet happen. But i still will need your help in this as i can't do this all by myself. So if you are interested in Co-oping with me on this please PM me so that we can talk.

Good Idea.
There are 3 Mazdas in my garage, all unique.
I'm only 3 hrs away during the summer.
I'll follow progress and future posts.
Thanks!
