AUTOELITE open for business
hey fellow rotary brothers i recently opened up a small underground shop in derry,nh. we specialize in mazda, nissan, and toyota. we cater to most of the new england area. we do installation, fabrication, and engine managment calibration. and yes we are a rotary freindly shop. I'd love to find a shop to tune my 8. I'm sure with the right adjustments/ECU it can make more power. I'm pretty sure it's running rich...change all the plugs/wires recently...over the last 6 months. But, it's still about the same.

mazda runs the renesis very rich to control flame speed. it helps keep combustion temps down by being able to run more ignition advance. not to mention keep everything "safe". and gives the engine a big safety margin. with a more performance orientated tune you most certainly squeeze more power out of it. as opposed to a factory tune which is geared tward reliability and catalytic converter life.

Whats your labor rate like?? I'm always looking for people to possibly do work down the line on my baby and well paying $95hr for some stupid *** dealer "techs" to molest my baby is well unapealing.

$95/hr ouch!!! our shop rate is $50/hr.
its a 2 bay home garage with all the amentities of a full blown shop but cleaner.
its only temporary till we get our 4000 sq/ft facility up to code.
