75% of the RSVPs were on hand for the first RX-8 Happy Hour in Herndon. Nice place but parking is tough between 6 and 8. We could have lined up 10 RX-8s in our own parking section at 5:30. At 6:15 you are waiting for someone to pull out so you can pull in.

RoundEye, we were there till 8pm for future reference.

We sat out on the patio with the gentle patter of cicadas serenading our libations and conversations. Inside are pool tables. Maybe some dart boards; I didn't look too closely. I'll post another happy hour date in a couple weeks after I return from my trip to Arkansas.

 

I couldn't have made it anyway due to a job interview this morning that required some research, but I'd like to make the next meeting. If there is another one anytime soon.
