Dyno Runs - Baltimore, MD - May 26th
My other car club (probetalk - yes, I own a couple Ford Probes), has been dynoing every spring at Exotic Motorsports outside of Baltimore for a few years now. The dyno is rented for the full Saturday of May 26th. People get 3 pulls on an awd dyno with wideband for 55$. This is pretty cheap. In years passed, the 16 slots we had would be spoken for well in advanced. This year, a few central members can't make it and the rest are just dragging their asses. Right now, you can reserve a spot as a non-Probe but if Probes step up, you get refunded. As of tomorrow, May 12th, that requirement is dropped and the spots are first come, first served.
So far, Supergoat and myself already have reserved spots to dyno our 8s. Only 4 probes are registered and paid. There are a few other cars registered and paid but still something like 6 spots left. Tomorrow, I'll post a link to the thread on the other forums where you can get the full details. It's kind of sad that the other club isn't able to fill it's own spots this year, but it should be fun nonetheless. If we get another 4-5 Rx-8s in, this'll almost be an Rx-8 meet.
This is just a heads up that there will likely be fairly cheap dyno time up for grabs tomorrow. There are a number of other guys already in on this who will probably spread it to other groups because priority number one is paying for all the spots. Adam from probetalk already went and paid for the dyno for the entire day and it would suck for him to have to eat a couple hundred bucks. That would definitely not make him want to run it next year.
Post here if you are interested and I'll PM you the details tomorrow so you can get a slot.

Chris, I was just about to post this.
Exotic is a very cool shop ran by great people. They are always very accomodating to us. Come meet some great people, have great food and have an all around great time.
