I just signed up for the next autoX in Stratford. I got my AP catback and midpipe on, idk if I like it so I'll just have to see how it sounds after i get the MS intake.

 

Any of you guys going to the Stratford AutoX this Sunday??

haha, no I don't think there is any car louder than yours. I got the MS intake on it and seems to have smoothened out the sound. It pulls strongly up past redline. With the stock exhaust and stock cat it was out of breath after 7800rpms. I just PMed you my number, the 5 car ride down would be cool. Just give me a call on Saturday and we'll be able to figure it out. I'm gonna swap my Enkeis on Saturday as well as take out all the unnecessary stuff out of my car.

 

Other than WinningRX8Chick, do all other CT RX-8 owners stay only in CT? So many good times ya'll missing out on in MA and NEPOC.

Yeah I think the last RX-8 club CT meet I went to was one that I set up... and that no one showed up to..


To give you an idea... I've already been to 3 meets this year (start of good weather) in various places in MA... all organized through NEPOC. One meet had 35 other mazdas at it, and probably half were RX-8s.

 

Well seeing ppl here completely ignored my question to meet up and see fellow 8's at the autox on Sunday I may take your offer sometime Alt and meet up with you guys up there.

 

RX8Chick - Just let us know when, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would go, but you should come out to Autocross next time, I think it's June 20th.

 

I'll come out as long as it isn't the same time as an autocross in MA...

 

I'm down for any AutoX. WinningRX8chick, why do you go all the way up in MA? cartct has one one June 6th in Bristol which I plan on attending but you have to be sponsored by a pre-existing member. Just send them an email and let them know that you want to go. Jesse you down for then? Idk if Seth can go.

Couple pics from this past Sat. We had our annual Spring Clean meet at my house.

 

Bunch of reasons for going to MA... lots of friends up there, BF lives up there, and most of the big meets are up there. For AutoX, I would be going to the Renegade Miata events. They're open to all cars, not just miatas. A lot of people I know AutoX there. I wasn't aware that there was an organized AutoX in CT! I'm so glad there is! I just autox-ed for the first time a couple weeks ago and loved it. June 6th I'll be at OCC (and likely hungover) so I can't make that one. Is there a website where I can get info and see a list of dates?

 

You can go to cartct.com. When I went last year I was the only rx8 there. Not many forum members like cartct and just go with FCSCC. You have to create an account through myautoevents.com i believe. It'll probably redirect you if you want to join in the next event. It's pretty damn fun and less restrictive and **** as cartct. I know there is a rotary car show at a church that I'm trying to go to sometime soon, and there is a Forumla Drift event in New Jersey that I'd like to go to also. So far Jesse seemed interested and Seth possibly. Obviously we can't all fit in our RX8s and why drive seperately when we can car pool. Oh BTW I'm on mazdas247 under the same screen name.

I might go to a Mazda meet tomorrow night at 8 at the danbury mall if you are down. We can meet up at the commuter lot off of exit 11 if you're down. Seth won't be able to make it until after 9 but I'll probably be leaving by 830 or 10.
