It's been living in the shop (body work, warranty repairs) and I think I've got all the little gremlins out of it!

Hey guys, I am wondering if any of you have a stock intake box all the way to the throttle body that I could buy off of you guys. I really need them badly. If anybody has one that I can pick up, that would be great. I'm having engine issues so I couldnt' make it to any of the meets unfortunately . I have to take it to colonial so that they can help me out. My dad accidentally threw out my old parts..... Thanks guys, I really really appreciate this.

Bump this cause we got knocked off the first page

OK, almost April, should stop raining soon and the weather is almost decent enough for some meets. Anyone interested in starting to put something together. Last year I could only make one before I had a business trip that took 5 months (and the rest of the summer ). I dont mind helping setting up some dates, places etc. What do you all think?? Or better yet, when do we want to start??

 

we can start off with a small meet on long wharf to see who all is interested. maybe head over to wooster street for some food if it's not too busy. maybe mid to late april for teh first one to get more people to come?

This is good, let’s try and keep this thread active. I agree with trying to get something together for mid April. Long Warf is good, but where would we eat/drink. (Unless we get a LOT of people, it would be a real short meet!!!)

Maybe somewhere towards the center of CT would be better so the drive isn’t that bad long for anyone. (LOL when is driving the 8 bad)

Or like last summer we would switch the spots around the state. If I remember correctly, the biggest issue we had last year was coordinating schedules. If you all like, maybe a good start would be to find out what the best days/times would be. I understand it’s very early in the year to know what you will be doing in August, but it would be a start and we can change as the summer progresses.

I don’t mind organizing the information, so if you all want, post it here or PM me and I will start putting together all the information so we can figure out the best times. Also include (if it does not say in you profile) Town (and state if its not CT) you live in so we can figure out the best locations.

J-Rex, Avanti, and Mystery - calling on you guys, lets figure out some good places (also anyone else that knows a cools place to eat/drink)

I can do Saturdays or Sundays. I live closer to the New London area. So maybe a meet in the center of CT would be good. I could maybe do it in a couple of weeks. Next week I have to get my new SSV put in.

 

I'm new to the club but, I live in Ansonia and would be down for a meet. Just got my second 8 a month ago, would be fun to meets some fellow 8 owners.

 

Weather's nice so hopefully we'll start meeting up again soon. There is the Autocross in Stratford once a month. Next is April 18th, I know myself, MysteryMachine, and like 2 other 8s will be there. Autocross Schedule. It's about 45 bucks and all you need to do is show up on time.

 

(Thinking we just need to get the ball rolling, but still taking suggestions)

Let's see if we can get a meet next week. I'm thinking somewhere in Middletown to start (center of the state). Either Wednesday the 14th around 7-8pm, or anytime Saturday the 17th.
