Just got my 8 a month ago (exactly!) and I'm moving to CT in a month (nearly exactly! lol). Add me to the list. There's a 90% chance I'll be at Lime rock and I'll definitely be at some of the other events around CT. Keep me posted.

Jenn, PM your email. So, Bristol or Avon? Make sure you get your tickets if you want to go to any other day besides Sunday. Sunday we will be free and we will be doing a group BBQ, so bring some stuff. We will also be touring the paddocks and meeting the rx8 race teams (Riley, Speed Source, etc...)

Planning to buy Lime Rock tickets tomorrow (if I can get a hold of the guy) for Saturday and I'll be there Sunday. I'm hoping for some parade laps!!!!!

I am moving to CT by the end of June. I have a crazy plan to get both of my cars out there and it involves driving the 8 out on Memorial Day weekend and leaving it at my friend's place until I'm moved out there. I'm going to go through withdrawals but it's the best plan. I'm not sure where I'm living yet but I'll be working in Winsted. Anyone know if Bristol is an okay place to live? I know the areas East/South of Hartford better than the rest of the state...
Do you guys do weekly meets or are they just the larger planned ones? My friend in Cromwell is setting up a Saturday night where a bunch of car people are meeting at a pizza place (in Cromwell). IMO it's the best freaking pizza on the planet. Every time I go to CT I HAVE to get it. I think it's going to be a weekly or monthly meet.. let me know if any of you are interested and I'll pass your info along.

i honestly have to say, this site definitely helped sway me towards buying the RX-8... afterwards it only took me about 3 months to find the perfect one

I'm officially in CT now so hopefully some of you might see me driving around! I'll definitely be at the Hooters event, not sure about the trek down to NJ..

Chick, I did not get to talk to you at the Lime Rock event, so sorry. It's nice to have you in the state. If you can make the Rotor Jam event in NJ, you won't regret the trip.

Hey guys not sure if this should be here but i'm not sure if any of you guys like to race and hartford is just not fun anymore. Me and a bunch of other guys meet up almost every night around 1030 till when ever at night just to chill and do a lil racing. we have no cop issuse's.
