Anyone for a CT/MA/NY meet?

Ok so I was talking to a few of my friends about a few meets we held for the Nissan community, and a few car shows we put on, and I have been thinking about setting a new record for big meets. As of right now, this is just gauging interest. I am pretty new to the forum, so I don't really know anyone on here but oh well right? Anyway, we had two ideas. A smaller meet just for Mazda in late august in the Old Lyme area, mainly because thats about the time frame I find gets a decent turnout, and for that time line the shore points are a relatively neutral CT location with some of the best photo spots on the state.

OR.....

I was talking to some guys on my old Nissan forum who want to do a big big big meet in October, for CT, MA, NY, NJ whoever can make it. This one is kind of a reach I know, with gas prices and such which is why its just a hope. But this would be one massive meet, using multiple forums, all different kinds of cars, mostly tuners. If we did this one we would plan this out big, invite some tuner shops to show up, engineers bring out some parts to show, really go all out. But this would mean a big cooperation with alot of different people, and takes alot of organizing and planning. So I really wanna know if there is serious interest in seeing one of these go down, and if so which would be best.

haha actually the guys I throw these kinds of events with are not as problematic about it. There havent been a big following of Honda's, and the ones that do have the respect NOT to be dumb. I did hear about rotorjam, but was away on family business. My idea is mostly Nissan's and Mazda (the only cars I really like as these are the only tuner cars that reliably produce RWD well.

Hey Blackout. As stated above the CTRA (connecticut Rotary Association) puts on many meets during the year. Here is a link to our next meet in Manchester at the Hooters. https://www.rx8club.com/ne-rx-8-forum-29/ct-meet-6-hooters-august-10th-1-00pm-149010/

I also just bumped up theCT registry, take a look and see if you would like to join. Hit me with a PM.
