Guys, we have a tent with 40 chairs, so we'll have shelter with tables as well. In addition, we'll be having drawings for Piloti shoes, crew member for a day on the KONI and Rolex teams and a lot more things are being planned for Mid-Ohio.

Grand-Am will be holding a promotional event @ the Winking Lizard On Bethel Road, as soon as Grand-Am and I confirm the date, I will post it. We have a series of events taking place 3 weeks before the event. Here is an event that we'll be having the weekend of June 5-7, 2009

As you can see, we have gone to great lengths to make the Grand-Am Experience a premier event for Mazda owners, The following weekend, June 13-14, were hosting a big party at a local Mazda dealers, youare all invited to join us as well.

This will become an annual event, as we want to make this the biggest event on the Grand-Am schedule for 2009 and even bigger than 2010.

Here is the link to order tickets for Mid-Ohio

http://www.midohio.com/Store/Tickets...ank-Mazada-Own

Hope to see 100+ Mazda's in our corral. Jon Mirachi owner of Racers Edge is going to try and bring his FD to the corral as a show car!!!! So spread the word, lets have a huge showing and check out some closew racing. Also, my new best friend Patrick Dempsey will be running again this year.

Had to pass this one on. I was at the Columbus Cars and Coffee meet at Lennox this last weekend. Very poor turn out BUT I saw an RX-7 with a Corvette engine. The whole car looked killer, mint. Big bottle of NOS in the back . Didn't see the owner to pick his/her brain though .

Take care,

Brian

Hello guys.

I am the owner who has black 06 RX-8, and i am wondering if you guys can answer my questions.

I am currently have mazdaspeed dual catback exhaust, but i want to get more horsepower. So, i am planning to get Agency Power Titanium exhaust with midpipe. And, it costs $765 for parts.

And it claims that i can get 15 to 20hp.

Do you guys think it is worth to put this exhaust on my 8?

Is there anybody who owns Agency Power exhaust?

Or can you guys recommend me any good exhaust and midpipe combination?

any suggestion would be appreciate it.

Thank you for Reading this.

your money would be better spent on a cobb, or saving for a turbo

Ok - we're ready for the next meet!

Friday, June 5 @ Winking Lizard, 1380 Bethel Rd. Columbus, OH, 6:00 - 10:00 PM.

This will be a promotional event for the Grand Am race at Mid-Ohio June 19-21.

I'll probably shoot for around 6:00 myself.

Who else is in?

I just got the AP pulley and AP catback exhaust. I installed exhaust yesterday, and it took 6 hours!!!! damn... It was so hard to take the hanger off from my car, and also bolts and nuts. They were stucked together. And, i am not so sure how to install pulley, so i am going to have to do some research. I will let you guys know when i install it.
And i have my mazdaspeed dual muffler, so if anyone of you guys want to buy it, let me know.
(and i am sorry if my english sucks. English is my second language. haha
I hope i can see you guys on the road.

Welcome to the club! The pulleys are actually a simple install. There's a DIY in the tech section. The hardest part is getting the tension correct by adjusting the alternator height. Don't forget to use loctite on the bolts.

I'll try to stop by the Winking Lizard tomorrow. I might be over in that direction to drop my wheels off at Wheel Medic for repairs. :-) Just picked up some winter wheels/tires from another forum member and I'm driving on those for now. Hope to see a couple of you guys there.

Being a native New Englander, I would say because it's better, but my Buckeye friends might revolt!

Meh, having spent 5 years out there I think enjoy it here more. I would gladly trade weather/scenery tho.

I stopped by for a minute, saw your car parked front and center (very nice) and a vr one too, but that was it. But the place was pretty packed and I didn't know how to go about finding you guys so I just headed home.

Amp and Subwoofer Installation

Does anyone have any places they can recommend for an amp and subwoofer installation?

I've actually done it myself but I'm afraid to do it again because I needed to get a new headunit. Byers claims it was due to the subs and amp but I think it was due to the accident my car was in since my stereo system worked up until the point of the accident. Anyways, because I don't know which it was due to I'm looking for someone to do it for me. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If someone wouldn't mind going through an install with me step by step that would be great. I understand everything involved except for which wires to tap into for the loc. I've read most of the posts concerning sub installation but I'm having difficulty figuring out which wires are pre-bose amp and post-bose amp. I think if I get that straight I'll be fine doing it myself again.

Sorry to hear that Will. I know how that goes, as I'm still recovering from my March surgery.

I hope all goes well.
