Massachusetts seceded from New England and is now part of England. So Ohio's been slid over from the Midwest to the Northeast to compensate.

Fortunately we left Cincitucky behind in the confusion.

On Friday night I saw a nice velocity red RX-8 at Cap City Grill. The best part was that it had plates that said UD on them. I was wondering if it was anyone from the forum. I graduated from UD so I'm just curious.

All fixed. These guys do great work!

If you can believe the extended forecast, this weekend looks great. Anybody want to join me at 1:30 Sunday @ City Barbeque on Henderson?

Hi. I'm '06. My college roommate who's on here occasionally (dietzel316) has a grey one. Pretty cool that there are others from UD, in cbus, with RX-8's.

So I come out to my car last night and my back license plate is gone. I'm going to the BMV to get new plates today at lunch. Does anyone know where I can get the clips or a holder for the back plate? It looks like two rectangle holes but I'm not sure where I'd find something that clips into them to hold the plate.

Were your original plates screwed in?

You can get them at Autozone/Advanced Auto Parts.

You have to remove your rear bumper to put it on though unless you have incredibly long, small hands. Bumper's pretty easy to remove though you have to be careful with all the clips. 20-30 minutes tops.

Yeah they were screwed in. Never had a problem with them in the two years they've been on the car.

Thanks for the tip on Autozone.

Jeff - Unfortunately, we can't join you for lunch this Sunday. We have an open house, so I have to entertain the dogs for 4 hours. I'll have to show off the changes next time! Y'all have fun!

Grand-Am at Mid-Ohio

It's not too early to start thinking about our annual Grand-Am outting at Mid-Ohio:

Yup - get this on your calendar now. Hopefully everything (weather included) will work out better than last year. I have been in touch with Marlon and he's hoping to get 100 Mazda owners there. Let's do our part!

Note that the schedule is a bit different this year. The Rolex race is a 5:00 start on Saturday. http://www.grand-am.com/assets/2009M...elimSched4.pdf

I know I will plan on getting there early that day and catch the Koni race as well. I very well may be up there most of the weekend.

Hey, guys (and gals). I'm not an RX-8 owner but I am in Columbus and I was wondering if anyone local has some stock sport sway bars they want to get rid of. If so, let me know - skkleinman (at) gmail. If I shouldn't be posting this request here let me know too and I'll happily delete it.

Thanks!
