Just went to go pick the 8 up. Everything seems to be running well. There's a noticeable improvement in shifting now with the Royal Purple fluid. The biggest improvement is the 1-2 shift (which has always been somewhat notchy), but everything is just silkier now.

Royal Blue??? LOL, I know what you meant. It gets even better in the summer.

Jegs does have RP. That's where I get all of my fluids. I've never been able to find the right viscocity RP at a Pep Boys.

The Pep Boys on Hamilton has 5W20 RP oil. I think they even had a case of 12 on sale

I may try that one sometime. I've tried W. Broad, and Morse location, and they don't seem to carry 5W20. I always end up at the JEGs by campus. I should just get a barrel.

32° and slush on the roads in Marysville this morning. The winters will come off 3/31. Any snow after that will be a snow day for me!

De-construction of the app. pack. started last week.

The only thing left are the side aero flares which are a major pain!

Anthony - We need to get your aero flares off. Let me know when you want to do it.

B-,

New body kit my friend.

Ra,

Anytime you are available is good for me.

I found out that I didn't need to take the front bumper off to fit the front lip. I'm very frustrated about that. Now I need to put everything back on and somehow get the front air dam re-attached.

My only question is, What would you attach the new front lip to if you didn't have the app. pack.?

Anthony, I just wanted to thank you for recommending TruePerformance. So far they've done a flawless job on the major hail damage from October and then a bullet hole in the roof from New Years! No one would ever be able to tell that any damage ever happened. Just wanted to let you know.

hey, whats up everybody. I got my RX-8 last November from Byers. It was used and didn't come with a keyless entry remote. I was wondering if anybody knew the best place around Columbus to get one, and how much it would be. Thanks!

welcome! id check the buy/sell/trade forum, but if you want to buy it locally your best bet is probably a dealership

Thanks. I just checked with the dealer, and they said it would be around $120 total. I think I'll just unlock the car manually instead. I can think of a lot more to do with $120 than buy a keyless entry.

Welcome Anthony. As the weather now seems to be improving, I think we are ready for another of our informal get-togethers. Who's in? Where & when?

I'm in. I haven't my 8 too long, so it will be cool to talk to some other owners.
