Woohoo this about to be my first meet

 

Keep forgetting that I can have a life outside of school. I've had my 8 since May or so? I'm in Langhorne ad drive around to Newtown a bunch, then commute over to Gwynedd Mercy 3-5 days a week. I know someone has a Black Cherry Shinka up at school, but haven't run into them yet. Besides that I've seen maybe 2 or 3 other 8's ever around home. I've been itching to find something twisty, so I might head up to New Hope or I've heard out by flemington isn't too bad. Anyone knows anything I'm in.

We will have our own entrance to the track for our rotary car corral. Standard track admission applies, around $15 for the whole day, if I remember correctly.

Merry Christmas!

Few weeks off from school, so I have plans to hide in my garage and wrench/build/do man things and get away from the nursing girls till then. Popped in a double DIN touchscreen Jensen head unit and will plop in some new coils later. Besides that, no big plans for the rotary. Mostly plan on finishing the death trap of a minibike that I was in the process of revamping before the semester started.

Ramble over. Always down to bust knuckles and drink beer.

 

Whats your location? Ive been looking for a garage buddy for a while.

 

im by scranton pa and host a lot of meets, parties, wrenching get togethers. it also helps that my brother owns a garage 10min from my house with two lifts and more tools then you can imagine

 

Yea thats an almost 2 hour ride for me though...

 

Hop skip and a jump by my standards. I've driven up a handful of times for some competitions and will have a strongman competition up there soon-ish.


Flourtown? **** I was right down the road from you last night (The Towers apartments if that means anything). Saw a white RX8 in the lot over there in case he/she is on here. I go to school at Gwynedd Mercy, but I live in Langhorne. So a whole 30-40 minutes away depending on traffic. Drove home at 4 last night and may or may not have cruised at double the speed limit on the Turnpike to make it a 20 minute trip.

Now that I'm thinking about it another blue S1 parked next to me Wednesday last week in Trevose. Stock besides some tint.

 

Yea I'm like a 15 min ride from Gwynedd Mercy, I go up that way for work all the time.

 

Cool just give me the heads up then and I'll make sure to get out of the library. Could grab a good growler from Tex Mex or PJ's on the way.

 

So my rx8 has been sitting for awhile, I charged the battery and got it started and oil came pouring out of the bottom of the car. So I immediately turned it off.
Anyway, I need a good mechanic in Philly who works on rotaries as I'm sure it needs additional work after not being driven for so long.
So if anyone has a shop or knows of one, I'd appreciate it. I'll have to have it towed there.
