Anyone from the North East heading to Rotary Revolution
Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone from the North east is heading out to the Rotary Revolution in April?I have already made plans to head out there, and made my hotel reservations, along with signing up for the event.I plan to drive my RX-8 out there even though I would rather bring my REPU.The REPU is just not comfortable for a trip from south eastern MA to the middle of IN.I have a friend going out there as well in his Honda with his wife. His wife and my wife will be heading into the city while we both autocross my car,and possibly drag race.If you are interested maybe we could meet up on the way out west, and make a caravan.I plan on leaving on the thrusday night before the weekend events, and drive as far as we can get,and then get a hotel room for the night, then finish the trip on friday. The plan is to leave sunday night, and drive as far as possible, then finish the trip on monday.

I live in Carver, but I doubt it was me unless it was around 2 months ago which is the last time I drove it over that way.I was also taking a class in that area, and there was a guy from NH that had the same car only it was the grand touring with the full accent package and all.Do you have any other rotaries?Have you ever thought of joining the Mass RX-7 club?We are not just RX-7's.We allow any and all rotary owners.Check it out at www.marx7.org
Good choice on the package for your car,and sweet color.I hope to see you around, maybe this summer.Happy rotoring.

I do mostly auto-x... so you'll see me up at Devens almost any given weekend. I don't really go to meets or anything like that. Too burnt out from them unless it's like a dinner meet or something.

Yeah I could possibly do that. The thing is I have yet to figure out what route is best for me to take.Maybe the northern route through upstate NY through the north west corner of PA south west into Columbus OH,and then west to IN,or south to NYC area, and then west from there.I think you guys will be taking the more southern route that I mentioned(possibly the PA turnpike),so metting up may be tough. When do you plan on heading out there?I think I should go check out AAA to figure out my best route.I think the southern route is shorter, but has the possiblity of more traffic, but what do I know.Let me know.
