I have full coverage on the 8 w/ $100 deductable I have 0 points and am over 30. I do have a multiline discount and a discount for having my homeowners with them. I can tell you that your rates suck *** because you live in South Euclid.

think your homeowners is what is giving you the much lower rate, along with me living in s euclid giving me a higher rate. wish i could have homeowners discount but i dont own my house even though i make the mortgage payments on it each month. (live in what was my grandparents house but the house was left to my parents and i just pay the mortgage and once its paid off it will be put into my name)

JTaylor - I will guess that your ticket is a speeding ticket. A speeding ticket while at your age will KILL your insurance rates. You have little to no credit and no real way of getting good discounts. You live in a good city for insurance though as you are surrounded by good communities. I would shop around though and see what kind of rates you can pull from other companies. Shop around...don't make it a secret...and see what you can do. Depending on how rating is done you may find that you benefit from a smaller or larger insurance company...so shop around. I would suggest smaller companies as the larger companies figured out that the RX8 is a sports car and adjusted their rates as such. Also, anyone that offers specialized coverage for the younger generations...stay away from...they will be raping you.

Talk to me when you have a lift and overhead crane support.

And going in for service for the next few weeks??? Is it getting reconstructive surgery and going to come out with a V8?

Still gotta find someone that knows rotary engines, specifically the Renesis well enough to tune it. . . Only person with a proven track record of knowledge is Mazdamaniac...

Champs with 2 P's (Champp's) is in Lyndhurst off Cedar near Brainard. It always seemed like a pretty bad place to watch a fight and it is a pricey joint. I don't even know...do they have a cover there? Anywho...

Couture v. Coleman - yAy for 2 fat old guys rolling around in a cage. *snooze*
Marquadt v. Sonnen - Really looking to see what Sonnen has here. I'll take Sonnen in the 3rd.
Swick v. Thiago - Tough call...but in the wnd I like Thiago by Sub in the 2nd.
Maia v. Miller - Maia by Sub in the 1st
Serra v. Trigg - Trigg destroys Serra by Strikes in the 1st
Danzig v. Bucholz - Danzig by decision in the 3rd
Gulliard v. Torres - Torres because Gulliard is a bitch
Nover v. Emerson - Emerson because he is a nice guy
Stann v. Davis - who cares
Hague v. Tuchsherer - Tuchsherer because his name rocks
Gracie v. Beltran - Is that even a fair fight? Gracie by Sub early

So it looks like Midwest Mazdafest is on 5/1 this year. I had a blast last year and met a ton of really cool people...but I was the only one from our group to go. Anyone up for a weekend of fun in Indy?

devilboi- yeah thats the champs im talking about. we were gonna go to the harry buffalo in mayfield hts but they play music inbetween the matches so you dont get to hear anything about who is fighting. there is also supposed to be 10-15 ppl going so we needed to go to a place where there would be enough room for everyone. as for bing pricey, ive only been there once before and cant really remember how much the drinks/food is there but after winning in presq isle last night im not to worried about it

might be interested in going to indy, depends if the louie run is that weekend or not. its usually the first sunday in may but i havent heard what date has been set for it this yr

Another option over that way wheellee is BW3 Lyndhurst. A bunch of the guys from the office go up there to watch the fight. No Cover too.

Champps is like $10 for a burger...$15 steaks...$4 beers...

i dont really care BW3. every one i have gone to i have had bad service. same thing with boneyard. i only go to boneyard for bike nights now. $10 burgers $15 steaks sounds about the average price for most resturants. for the next fight im sure we wont be going to champs cause we probably wont have that big of a group. if you feel like stoping in your more then welcome to join us, gonna be a good time.

btw i drove the 8 home from mol this morning around 5am. it handled better in the snow then i thought it would. was hard to get going from a dead stop but other then that i didnt slide around to much. only thing that concerned me was that when i was going down the freeway the ride was really bumpy, kinda like i was driving on a flat tire or the tires were off balanced. it even continued to do this when i would hit clear areas with no snow on them. when i got home i checked to see if i just had a bunch of snow built up in the wheelwells but they were pretty clear. any ideas?

I won't be going up there as that fight card isn't worth any cover. Ill just watch it tomorrow.

What tires do you have?

dunlops. think they are the stock tires. they arent all season tires. if the roads clear up today im gonna take it for a quick ride and see if maybe it was just the snow that was making it act that way.

there isnt a cover to get in for the fight at champs

do you ever meet up with ppl at sheetz or burger king in willoughby? always see tuner cars that meet up at those places

Stay away.... stay far away!
If you're looking at upgrading the coils, go with BHR (that's what Brian and I have).

So the stock tires are summer tires. The rubber will get hard as you get around freezing. I would assume that last night that the tires just froze with a flat side. If you are going to drive in the winter and rely on the 8 you should get some all season/winter tires.

Don't know where the Sheets in Willoughby is. Only one I know of is in Mentor. As for BK...I have not run into them up there since I got the 8. When I was driving my Stealth I used to see them all the time. I did meet some of the guys that hang out up there at the Cruise for Cops event. Nice group of guys. They drive a bunch of old police cars. Still see them boppin around Willoughby from time to time. There is another car club group that meets up at Mr Chicken on Monday's during the summer and another at Bakers Square in Mentor and Willoughby Hills on Friday's.

Yes I did get the eclip on but i should check to make sure it is still there :-) I think I left the wire wrapped around the brace just in case.

Good info for the O2 sim thx. I'm just going to get the high flow CAT and be done with it. The rough running is below 3k RPM but seems to run just fine above that. I just put some new Taylor ignition wires on (any excuse to go over to Summit Racing - it is only 15 min from my office!).

You'll need an AccessPort to mask the CEL.

Also, you mentioned having issues around 3K RPM... this is close to when the SSV opens/closes.
And I recall seeing a wire securing your valve
Did you ever install that e-clip I gave you?
