Just embed an annotation stating that the rattle is from the catback and was there before the midpipe install.

That's the problem...it wasn't. You remember how after my AP install we said that my tips pointed downward? Well switching from the stock cat to the rb midpipe caused by tips to level out...but in the process the top of the muffler vibrates against the underbody of my car. It causes this horrible rattle noise.

You had an after market intake then sold it... Buy spring... sell springs. Talked about a midpipe or new cat back, but now you're back to an intake?
Did you ever your gauges sorted out? One project at a time. Although I don't have room to talk because I wasn't really in the market for Ryan's stuff either, but when a good opportunity presents itself, one should jump all over it like a fat kid on a cupcake.
I'm actually really thinking more and more about the stockers with the track tires... really thinking. I could paint the wheels red and make the whole club look stupid.

plus im just sort of a fickle kinda guy i suppose.
-and doc i already know what your thinking, no i will not put the money towards driving classes

and no the guages arent sorted out yet, since my money is tight before school im focusing less on the cosmetic modifications until next year.
Ryan- I took the AP dongle apart and found this:

You can see that the yellow wire was pinched and has an exposed wire.
This probably occurred during assembly and likely is not causing your current issue since it worked before (but you never know).
I'm also going to ask our material people if we carry mini-USB SM components.
If so, I can just solder a new connector on.
But, I believe we only build circuit boards with type-A USB connectors.
If I can't find this connector, I'll look at it under our scopes and see if I can do anything with it.
I'll keep you posted.

Ryan- The AP dongle is working again!
Our material people didn't recognize the mini-USB component so we may not have one here.
So I looked at the connector under a scope and could see that the pins are spring loaded and one pin was stuck down.
I took a fine pick and was able to release the stuck pin.
I compressed the spring a few times to verify it didn't stick again, but it always returned.
After that I taped the exposed wire with electrical tape and took it out to my car.
Using your dongle I was able to navigate through the various live data screens and even read the CEL codes that you tried before when it failed.
If you feel more comfortable selling the AP with a new connector, I can solder a new one on for you easily.
You can purchase the connector for $1.12

I registered, as well as Jamie. Megan is running as well.
Mark you gotta run. We basically have to shut Eric up because for some reason he thinks HE is the only good driver and is holding the entire club up. He keeps saying we are going to lose again because all of the NORA drivers suck.
I don't know if you noticed but he has been on a "I am god of autocross" trip lately....
Case in point. Megan placed 4th at the Pro Solos (taking a trophy spot none the less woot!) and all he could say to her at the meeting last night was, and I quote... "You should have drove faster and done better" No congrats or nothing.
His attitude is really getting old.
Either way, hopefullly you make it out Mark. You have been doing very well lately and paxing quite high, we could use that on Sunday
^ Don't be bringin' that drama round here!
So this being a challenge, minus getting runs in, its essentially a waste of time for me. Damn suck at driving nonsense. I need more mods. Maybe I'll mod the driver with some performance enhancing drugs.
Congrats Megan! It sounds like you're doing very well in the Subaru. Co-worker just picked up a 2.5 rs coupe in Pennsylvania someplace for like 2k in okay condition (the transmission doesn't have 3rd gear) Maybe you can talk Brian into, say, not purchasing the sway bars and saving up for that car?

Thanks for the comments guys heh. The subi fits me well it seems. This weekend shall prove to be interesting... the focus is our FSP car at this point unless the Brighton gets a quick turn around.
Great idea Steve, other than we have enough focus' to work on each weekend
And that consumes enough money in beer funds as is for no more cars! lol

lol drama llama

If she wants a Subi, SHE can buy the Subi.
Besides, once I get all of Ryan's swag I'll basically be done with the cars, sans an AccessPort and a short shifter.
