I have already told myself that if mazda goes through with an 16x rotary I will be the first in line to buy one.

I will probably keep my eye here and on 6 club for some meets.
Well, that stinks, sort of. I mean, lose the car or lose your job. . . you probably made the right call, and it sounds like your didn't get raped on the car trade in.
You stayed in the mazda family, so that's cool too. So, not a traitor!

I was pretty lucky actually, the guy from park really hooked me up since we just bought my Wifes 6 from him a month prior.

Looks like they already sold the 8 too, its not listed on the site anymore.

It's due east of Brecksville along rt 82. It's called the Crossroads of NE Ohio because 480, 271, and rt 8 all go right through it. It's also just down the street from Northfield Park where a lot of the NORA autocross events happen.

You'd get there by taking 80 east to rt 8 and just take that north all the way to Macedonia.

streetsrx8 - did you just sell it to them directly or use it as a trade in?

Steve.... Why are you hoisting your engine out of it's nice, happy, comfortable home in your bay? Did I miss something? Are you still searching for that nut? Just break down and get a Stevetool, man!

Yea TJ...you want to hop on 80 and not take 82. 82 would be a pretty good haul for you.

okay ill do that then, but apparently the springs i bought from "blamerobb" arent tanabe gf210's because i sold em to some guy in wisconsin and he called tanabe and rsr since i shipped them in an rsr box and there neither one of those springs and now he's filing a paypal dispute with me because he thinks im a scammer. what the hell.

Replacing lower intake manifold and probably headers too this winter.

And anything else I can upgrade while I'm in there... clutch flywheel, etc.

and if I can find the upper intake bolt and my 10mm socket, that would be great too

Doc: One of your rotors really worries me. It seems one side is worn way down and the other side isn't worn at all. Probably from a stuck caliper which seem to be so common.
I'm getting all types of chatter from the one side being so thin. I'm going to ask one of the guys to run it on a bigger lathe (that I'm not qualified to run) and see if they can get it. other wise, I'll really have to do some brain storming.

Only way to fix that is to show him the thread you bought it from to prove you only knew that as fact. Although at that point you better hope that blamerobb paid the same price you did.

If it were me, I'd ask "blamerobb" for any documentation he has. old credit card statement, etc. To prove that they are what you said.

OR, just offer the guy a full refund minus shipping because you didn't know. Can't be a scammer if don't take his money. I'm sure you tried to explain the circumstances, but he doesn't care.

i sent him the thread i bought them from and i paid 130 plus shipping and i sold them for 125 plus shipping so idk, but blamerobb pmed me back and he thinks the guy i sold them to is ripping me off because blamerobb apparently compared them to one of his friends who has tanabegf210's and they are identical. idk whats going on one of these two guys is ripping me off and idk which one.

Well, if he doesn't think they're real, tell him to send them back on his own dollar and you'll issue a refund (minus shipping)

I think that is a fair was to end this.

he wants me to pay for shipping though, not that i care its like ten bucks but still im afraid if the person i sold them to is trying to rip me off that ill refund the money and never get the springs back. because im talking to both blamerobb and this "viper" guy that i sold them to and blamerobb story seems a lot more believable then the guy i sold them to.

"Now... its personal..."
I get focused on these things and get real upset when I can't figure something out. (yes yes, it happens frequently). But still, I'm going to find another way to do this.

But I also won't feel bad if I ruin them now.

Trade. I dont think I would have got as much if I hadn't bought a car from them a month before. The 3 I got was also a service loaner, so they hid a lot of the extra money they gave me in profits made from using it for service. It only had 8300 miles on it

Jon - Hope you make it through your day today. I didn't realize that you were working a day shift though.

Graham - Nice to meet you yesterday. Hope you find a way to make it out to some of our events and can figure out how to post soon.

Steve - Thanks for finding a good spot for us to record yesterday...hopefully the video comes out good. And congrats on the short shifter!

Wow, you can tell you've played this game before, Doc.
Interesting to know, none the less.

Ryan: Thanks for letting me throw your car around slightly.
The Borla sounded pretty good also, even with the stock cat. Better than my old racing beat for sure and not as "look at me!" as the AP is.
