I think the drive-by sounded like a weed-whacker and the thing to really seal my opinion was at the end of the video when he was lightly revving it into the garage.
He was probably revving it 2k-3k RPM going into the garage and it still sounded like ****.

So get whatever pipe you'll be happy with.
And John got the new Racing Beat dual-resonated mid-pipe.
BHR hasn't released theirs to the masses yet.
Plus, I wasn't impressed with the sound the BHR had when they played a sample clip.
But its one of those pipes I'll want to hear in person to completely judge.

You were there to hear the new RB mid-pipe next to mine... it was REAL close in sound.
Plus you wouldn't have issues like not being able to install the two cross members.
You are better off waiting for the RB mid-pipe... it'll likely go on sale before anyone sells their MazSport anyway.

You can order it now, but it didn't sound like they had a ton pre-built and ready to ship.
So you would have to wait in line (ETA unknown).

At first we thought that Fluid had it because the picture on his site was the same as the MazSport, but I guess it turned out to be an AP instead (from what I hear).

I actually had their single resonator and after a year took it off because it was too annoying.
Brian has their dual resonator pipe and it sounds better, but I like the bass tone of the MazSport and the RB.

If you are looking into those pipes, send Fluid a PM and ask if his pipe is the old MazSport.
If its not and you want the AP, you can get that through him too.

Not sure how long Ryan waited for RB to ship his pipe, but if you order now it might get to you before fall.
Or simply call Racing Beat and ask what the expected time frame is.

 

i cant wait till fall, i have till next week to get one before i gotta pretty much give all my money to pay my car down so i wont have to pay while im away at school.
so i may just go with the exotic speed or the AP dual resonated one. dont know what to do

 

Or get neither, save your money, and wait until next spring to decide and purchase.
Then you can save up for a mid-pipe AND an AccessPort tuned through MM.

i just bought blizzaks last winter, they barely have like 4k miles on em. hah and knowing me i wont wait that long to buy one, i personally like all of the midpipes ive heard cuz i had steves on so long, but i just liked your guys' the best. ive never really heard a "bad" sounding rx-8 before so idk. i just can wait that long

 

But don't waste your money to get a pipe that isn't exactly what you want just because you're too impatient.
That is just retarded.

Why don't you call Racing Beat when they open and simply ask them what the time frame is.
Tell them that you have cash ready now for it.
Never know, you might get lucky and their next batch will soon ship out and you can hop on it.
But you'll never know until you try.

Didn't rattle at all... the actual sound was annoying.
Even cruising up RT8 to work was annoying.
I couldn't talk on the phone and the radio had to be turned up loud to drown-out the noise.
It sounded like a Civic at WOT.
Just wasn't for me... I don't like the attention.

 

If they are a good business... no.
If other people already prepaid for the RB pipe, why should you jump in line.
That would be, what I like to call, an ******* move.
But like I said, never know until you try.

 

hmmmmm, and you had the single resonated pipe. see its not the attention from people im afraid of, its attention from police, which i think the exoticspeed would accomplish that pretty easily from what i hear about how loud it is. but the d/r AP pipe sounds good from what im hearing. although its just youtube, idk ill sleep on it and call RB in the morning and find out my options, i still gotta figure out how much i can drop on a midpipe too.
