That is more carbon build up than oil baked on like mine, but it was interesting to see. Personally, I'm just hoping I don't have any more problems with it.

But, only some problems fix themselves without do anything... I say some because my headlight autoleveling light has been off for a few months now after being on almost all summer...

It was good to read that you can replace the valve without removing the engine.
So if you experience another stuck valve, this could be another option for you!

I bet those things are over 100 bucks each. . . and they look weird.

When are you planning on heading up to Doc's on Sunday?

I did not have my tint done there and my tint is messed up and I have to take it back. However 90% of the c6c had theirs done there and the job looks amazing.

i was going to say this yesterday but didn't want to encourage / discourage you from making a choice after having given my recommendation. I do think though you won't find better quality work than from Graybill's.

Just for a few reference pics. Here's mine, done at Bullit Proof Performance. 50% on the sides and 35% on the rear.

Right after it was done:

Avoid them like the plague! I had mine done there and I'm not satisfied. They had to re-do my tint twice to get it somewhat to par. Not to mention they put directional tires on backwards. A bunch of college kids working on your car who don't care...Not for me. Plus, the tint doesn't even go all the way to the edge of the window. You will regret going there.

If you're still not satisfied, can't you take it back again? Did you go with the highest end tint?

So he had it done, then redone... then redone again... would you seriously take your car back some place a FOURTH time. You know they'll just screw it up because they're tired of seeing you and tired of working on the car.

I don't get kickback, credit, kudos, or even offhand recognition for recommending Gordy's. I simply know what i've had done there was excellent (after the minor fix) and seen the quality of what was done on two other friends' cars (both of whom recommended i go to G's).

There's another place in Barberton and the name escapes me at the moment, who also does some serious quality work but he is on average about 75-100 more expensive. But as i said, he's in barberton. A bit further i am sure than you will want to go to get tinting done.

If you only knew the headaches I have been thru with Horizon LOL Not worth my time!

I had alot of work done by them all at the same time last year (audio mostly but other types of work as well). I was not satisfied with the quality of work so I took my car to Motion Audio (North Olmsted) to have them check it out. I trust them and I only went to Horizon due to it being closer to me (just moved to Massillon at that point in time). My wiring was soooo bad that Motion Audio would not touch it LOL Motion Audio told me to take it back to Horizon and have them fix the issues (they gave me a list to take back with me). I took it back to Horizon and they cleaned it up somewhat. Mind you, this is a period of like 4/5months to get the issue addressed correctly. Horizon was very busy at that point (summer just hit). I haven't had the time to take in back to Motion Audio for them to re-do.

Well, I learned my lesson. Take it to people you trust versus closer to home/cheaper prices.

Well... that's enough about Horizon to make me not want to go there if you feel so strongly about it. I have never gone there for anything big though... but I see where you're coming from about a bunch of college kids just slapping on tint.

Where is this Gordy's place again? Barberton is way closer to me than Westlake.

Doc: that is the installed price, right? so like 215-220 out the door?

He's in Massillon.

If you know where Hills & Dales RD and Wales Rd come together, he's right near there. There's a Friendly's near his shop.

Looking on that map, if you go south of his marker on Wales Rd, you will see Springhaven Circle. That's the street i live on. 1351 springhaven. See that funky cul de sac in the middle? I own the corner house right below where the C in Circle is.

Doc- Just got your Diff fluid and I'll keep it in the car so I don't forget it!

On my way to work I played with the MPG average calculator on my AccessPort.
Cruising up RT8 at 70MPH I averaged 22.6MPG!
I'm curious what it'll be after the MM tune.

I've heard nothing but good things from people about Gordy Graybills.

Jon @ Bullit Proof Performance I recommend as well. He tinted and installed a clear bra on my husband's Evo. He takes the door panels off so the tint goes all the way up the windows too. Plus, you get to see some sweet cars he has garaged

There is enough of us here (locally) with knowledge in different aspects of the car to help out with just about anything.
Plus... we can read/search pretty well too.
