Rodrigo, why don't you meet Clavius and I at a place in exit 26 off of 95 N around 7:45. I don't know what's around there but I'm sure there will be a Dunkin Donuts or Mickey D's.
I'll PM you my cell.

yup I do, I've had it for a couple of months. I bought the boost guage when I installed my turbo. But have been so busy that I haven't had time to install. But I figured I better install it before the show.

So today I decided "Time to stop slacking off and get these directions printed up" so I goto the first page and realize there is no numbered address. I doubt Mapquest will take "Budwiser Plant" as a local.. (then again ya neva know lol) so does anyone know the exact number. I coulda swore there was a number awhile ago but grr.. (I'll keep looking btw in hopes of finding it).

Never Mind Found it.. (thank you internet) its 221 Daniel Webster Hwy for anyone else interested lol... So a hour and 9minutes from Norwood hahah yeah right..
Registration is 8:30-9:30 right Kevin?

Kev:

Gates open at 8:15am so we won't be too far behind to park, register, and begin the detailing process.

Did you try calling Apryl at Werner Mazda (603-626-6666) to tell her your issue? I'm sure she'll need to see them but I'm confident she can help you.

Not yet.. I just used some Maguiar's PlastX its a oxidation/haze remover and so far it might of done the trick as in this haze might of been on the outside but deep down in the plastic. I'm leaving it alone for a few hours in hopes it doesnt come back. If this stuff works I'll bring it with me if any of you guys have a similar issue. But so far the other parts of the lights that looked haze look brand new clear
Though my major annoyance still remains the fact it took a week for them to tell me what this thing is. And btw Otherside aparently got annoyed by my dealers incompetance(sp?) and called up himself to the tech line and they have never heard of such a thing at all for any mazda car period. So yeah go figure.. maybe this dealer has a part number for our missing hp?

Hey Ya'll

Since I am not exhibiting in the show I will not be going crazy detailing my car but I want it to look good and wanted to give you guys a close up look of my newest mods (queue Clavius drool)

This is an hour ago after washing my baby with 110 degree water and Meguiars Gold Class Soap. Then Micro Fiber dry and not a touch of wax yet. No Sun and 65 degrees out.

Oh yeah and yes I am a member of the NESCF. Oh for those of you that are interested... New England Stone Chip Foundation. They take donations to help heal chipped front bumpers, hoods, fenders....Grrrr

Welcome to the DRKSYDE!

Hey Clav,

I was on the S2kI forum last night and one of their members no longer owns an S, he now has an 8 and wasn't sure any other 8 owners were going. I think he's from RI, so I posted him that you are in South Boston area and there were a couple of you coming up. I suggested he look for you in this forum (since you are the only one I knew was from that area) and see if he could hook up with you guys in the morning. His S2kI forum name is S2000Boy. Figured he might feel better about coming if he knew he could come in with a group. The more the merrier, right?

Drk I'm also a member!! The front of my 8 looks like while I'm at work it snorts coke and forgets to wipe. Going to attempt to goto the fine art store and get a brush.

Man those taillights grrrr
meh want!.. well I believe I cleaned up my headlight issue so I might MIGHT be sporting those Eyelids!

Tomorrow all day cleaning of my car. Did the interior this evening before sunset. Thinking Dawn (since I've heard it removes wax) then clay bar then after that Maguiar's paint cleaner followed by polish. Then to top if off Maguiar's NxT wax. oi I'm gonna be drained tomorrow. lol

Hellz yeah.. as it stands right now (unless holycross states otherwise) leaving around 7:30-7:45 ish (right holy?) since Rod wont be by the boston area till 8 (unless I misread Rod?!). If he wants I can be found at myspace.com/the_kev_o and he can message me through there or kevsflanagan@aol.com either way. Me and HolyCross (its Jay right? lol I'm bad at names) are meeting up at Joes American Bar and Grill in Dedham its right offa 95N and all he has to do is get off at the Rt1 Exit torwards Dedham (there is another torwards Norwood/Provdience.)

My name is Mark but I can get used to Jay lol. Yea Rodrigo said he might not get to the meeting place til 8 and it takes about 10 minutes to drive up 95 to that exit so 7:45 sounds good.

I curbed my rims the other night and I've been trying to patch it up myself but haven't had too much time at all to finish the paint job and add clearcoat. Might have to show up with my rear right wheel primered....lol

So we'll be meeting folks in the parking lot and heading in as a group. I emailed Jeff and he'll be parking the Miata folks next to us.

So Red I think you and RPI-RX-8 will be the only 8 folks meeting at my house?

That's fine. My husband, Giles, will be coming later. Giles wasn't too keen on the idea of getting up that early on a Saturday.

final preps...

If you have a two way radio, it might be helpful for the ride up. Set it for channel 8...of course. rain today out this way, so will give her a final wipedown in the garage.

Don't forget ICE, sandwiches, chips, snacks, drinks, touchup stuff, cleaning stuff, towels, blankets, camera's, and hopefully not, umbrella's, radar detectors ( if you think you need them ...oh and start with a full tank...

Kev and Mark, we will be meeting off exit 26 going north on I-95 at about 8am, if I'm reading that right. It should be about an half hour ride from there or so. I'll be the black with yellow accents...

Kev, Mark, I will pm you my cell number so we can adjust any last minute changes.

Where is the parking lot everyone is meeting at? Are you talking about the lot at the Bud plant?See you all tomorrow...

BB rules...

Hehe.. did my entire interior last evening save for my headliner since I realized I had no sponges. Aparently the previous owner(s) liked to smoke so I have a few spots of crud. I need to find a more powerful vacume mine well sucks and can barely clean my mats, the thick dirt aint moving grrrr...

So far today looks to be cloudy.. wait nvm.. rain rain rain all ******* day WTF!! I think the gods wish to spite me. This is sooooooo not kewl at all!!!!!!!!!!!

And I know no one with a garage either
Ima kill my weatherman I heard "light scattered showers to the north of boston".. Ok might do lazer wash -- and attempt to put half of my car into the small garage I have (its a small barely a single car one more of a storage garage)

Parking lot meet up.

Car show area is outlined on the map. As best i recall, the star represents the area we occupied last year.

Green area #2 is a wide open parking lot where a meet up could occur. By 8:15-8:30 a long line of cars will start to queue leading to the show area.

Green area #1 is another option to meet-up. It's a Fidelity complex with large open lots. Attended many meeting there in it's prior Digital days.

Just throwing out some options.

Cheers,
Oranje

Hm.. what you guys says to Oranje's spot #2?
Sounds decent enough since we all know we arnt going to be the only ones planning on meeting at the parkinlot. That and I'm thinking be easier than someone standing outside their car waving their hands saying via the cellphone "I'm over here do you see me?!?!!!!" lol.

Grr still no call from Mazda about my Drivers Side Visor wtf.. might just grab it and install it myself when/if they call me up. Btw cleaned out half my garage so half my baby is inside slowly drying. Swear nature did this to **** me off.

Mark I'll be at Joes Grill by 7:30 (I know I'll be a few minutes late so I'm telling myself 7:30 lol). That and I'll need to find a place that sells ice that day my freezer is friggin' full right now
