Thumbs up The 2006 Northeast Sport and Exotic Car Show

The 2006 Northeast Sport and Exotic Car Show

Date: Saturday August 26th, 2006
Time:Show Cars - 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. / Public 10:00 a.m.
Rain Date: Sunday August 27th, 2006
Location: Anheuser-Busch Brewery in Merrimack, NH
Information:www.neviperclub.org click on bottom left subtitle Northeast Exotic Car Show.

Please don't missunderstand me, this is not a simple neighborhood car show. This event is an annual fundraiser for the NH Make-a-Wish Foundation. Each year we have been able to grant a wish and make a difference in the life of a child.

I am asking for your support again. Please come join us and share your automotive obsession with the communtity.

It gets bigger and better every year. You will see things you never thought possible. Last year there was an original Ford GT40 in attendance, an original Turbocharged Delorean drove up from NJ.

*If you have any comments or questions you can reply here or call me directly.

Best regards and thanks !

Jeff:

I thought you'd had forgotten about including 8 folks to the car show Just a bit off topic but would it be ok for me to pass this info along to my local Miata Club (I'm President) to see if I can drum up some interest?

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin- Absolutely, please do.

The show is later in the calendar year, so I was waiting.

Thanks for your interest.

Can't wait Jeff , the last two year's events provided such a great day in the sun at Anheuser-Busch, plus wonderful up-close-and-personal time with friendly owners of so many absolutely amazingly fine automobiles!

Here's a short vid of last years RX-8 entries, hope we can at least double the number this year, and esp. for such a good cause www.spin9k.com/05_ecs_rx8.wmv

BIG BUMP!

Fellow Mods, can we sticky this event?

I'm thinking of heading over along with the wife. She's taking her Miata, undecided yet whether I'll take the 8 or the Miata

Better still..... bring both or all three cars cars... hire a friend x3 your chances for a trophy... have many more people asking about your car(s)... ...wife on her car...you on your two!

BTW as a mod...why don't you just sticky it yourself? As a worthwhile charity event, it certainly deserves it .

There were vendors there last year, I don't know if they were selling beer. But you can also take the brewery tour, and get free drinks at the end of the tour.

Brewery tours are free with 2 beers at the end. No beer for sale at the show.

Last year's terrific weather, the truly impressive array of cars, nice folks and a worthy cause made this a great day. Looking forward to it.

Cheers,
Oranje

how do I enter or do I want to enter??...

easy, at least the 1st part...show up w/a donation ready for the charity as an entry fee...I think it's $10. The 2nd part....if you want to be in the pictures lined up w/the rest of us...is that a draw for you??

What you didn't as is what do I need to do to my car?

Clean it up as best as possible....or as good as as you want to if your a perfectionest. Judging for 1st & 2nd trophies in our RX-8 class is done by the attending public w/private ballots. Most of us made a small card to display to explain our mods/cars .... in other words .... it's a casual show and shine event. Hope that helps...see you there...on the grass

I am a total RX-8 newb. I just got her a 2 weeks ago, so I am definately going to try to get to this as I really would like to meet other owners and learn about rotary!

I've done alot of shows in the past, but I've never been to an exotic show. I am sure I will be picking my tounge up off the ground from the looks of the pictures!
