Keep in mind that this is a tentative list as published by those organizations now.
It is by no means to be authortative of what is available on any given weekends.
I removed all non-points, weather-permitting, test-and-tune, and battle events.
Feed free to pm either bxb40 or me for info, whether you are jitterish or giddish
about autocrossing for the very first time or Nth time.

As the weather seems gorgeous this Sunday 3/12, what better way to bond with your beloved RX8 after all those winter days... then to come autox at Giants Stadium? All u need to do is be able to wake-up early enough to be there in time. The rest is more fun - and totally worth is. Here is the registration link:

Now u have no more excuses for not showing up! It is a no-point event, just to get you warmed up for even more fun through the year!

Trekking 1.5hrs tomorrow for Philly SCCA event at Warminster Community Park. Looks like there will be two RX-8 attending. More is merrier of course. See http://www.phillyscca.com/solo2/index.html for detail.

Didn't see your question until now. Sorry, thought no one else is interested in autox in NJ.
Spectating is always free, just make sure you sign the liability waiver the club requires. Any questions PM me for faster responses, since I spend most time in Competition sub-forum.

Just in case any of you showed up at the events listed and not finding me on-site, the reason is I have been tracking all the way out to MD/PA to run with Philly SCCA. I did one BMW-CCA, one NNJR-PCA, one SJR-SCCA, and one MotorsportNE, in NJ in 10+ events I did thus far.
For those of you who are still apprehensive of autoxing RX-8, you are missing out big-time! Autox is more about driving skill than the car, so show up with your beater/grocery getter if you are worrying over warranty. I like to think that there are good RX-8 drivers out there in NJ. I'll be waiting.

i think i've run more events with philly and SJR this year than steve, but i believe he's hit NNJR more than me. i like philly the best for the variety of sites they run (SJR has only 2 and NNJR 1). competition is also best/toughest in philly. i have some beef with how NNJR is run, but i won't disparage them. i will say that philly and SJR are very newbie friendly regions so don't hestitate to come on out guys and look for a gray 8 in BS (steve) or a black 8 in STU (me -- doug).

Actually, I tried to do NNJR-SCCA, though no luck thus far with the weather factor and loose-ship organization. I did do one NNJR-PCA. Going back to opus_opus's question, I'm with Doug on Philly SCCA being the best in the region, unless you run with Autocross Inc/WDCR SCCA. The long drive is totally worth it, for the level of competition, friendliness, course design, and mixed avenues. Autox season is about to come to an end by Nov, so show up soon.
Can't wait to find out what you learned at WDCR school, Doug! Spill the beans.
