A few years ago some members might remember that we did a Hunterdon County Drive with the Del-Val Miata club. Well the time has come again and I am seeing if there is any local interest on doing this again.

Meet details
Date: Saturday June 5th 2010
Start Times 8:45am for drive, 10:00am for meet

The drive will start at 8:45am and will originate at the Oldwick General Store located at the intersection of Rt 517 and King Street in Oldwick NJ. The General Store is one and a half mile North of Route 78 exit 24. Take RT 524 toward Oldwick. Rt 524 changes into RT 517 in one mile. The General Store is on the left. The drive will be about 30 miles long and features a great view of Round Valley reservoir and numerous rural roads (great pictures)

We will end up at Flemington Mazda around 10:00am. Flemington Mazda gives us an opportunity to get certain services at a discount. With new managers in place Flemington Mazda is again a club sponsor and enthusiastically resuming this tradition. Mazda parts are routinely discounted at 15% for club members.

Chris Mariscotolo, Flemington’s Service Manager has arranged for an independent paintless dent repairer and windshield chip fixer to be on hand. He’s working on having an on site wheel repairer join the mix. He also has some surprises and giveaways in his tool kit.

For those who are interested in the latest Mazda offerings, Sales Manager Gail Rubinstein, will make any vehicle in stock available for test driving. Gail’s working on having Mazda USA regional reps join us for informational presentations.

Chris Mariscotolo, Flemington’s Service Manager has graciously invited us to join the staff for lunch (burgers and dogs). Altogether a nice way to check out the new folks at Flemington Mazda, get some maintenance done, save a few bucks and get hands on and up to speed with what’s happening at Mazda.

I sent an email to to coordinator for the Del-Val Miata club stating our interest in participating in this event again.

I'm interested. Was there a few years back with the Miata club before I had my 8. I go to Flemington Mazda regularly for parts for my Miata and oil filters for my 8. Nice people. I didn't know there was new management.

Im going to be attending the F-town meet...

but only going to F-Town Mazda... not gonna do the drive

 

Mike are there any other Mazda clubs that are going to attend? Mazda 3 or 6 forum guys going?
