I'm looking at some helmets too. I am psyched to try out my new potenza's in the dry spring because they don't do sh*t in the snow.

You'll be able to do what I did last year... compare yourself to the b-stockers and pray for the STi/Evo clan to have a bad day.

There is Custom Sounds on Lindburgh between New Florissant and New Halls Ferry. Also there is another place on Lindburgh right off of 270 almost across the street from the Bank of America. I think that's the one Terrets is talking about. They gave me a price for a custom box and system just a little too pricey for me right now.

I'm all in for next weekend to do something. I left that weekend open because I desperately need a break from the real world. I'll be heading to San Francisco the following weekend/week so I'll be out for anything during that time.

I still need to schedule some garage time at my sister's to do the suspension swap. Not sure when I'll feel up to that, though. Maybe one of the last two weekends of March.

Hope all is well with everyone!

Hey chico, lets work on making a sub box this summer. I want 1 12" too so we can work out a design. I'd love to have it be removable and seamless with a possible amp rack or something.

Count me in on the fabrication. Perhaps we should construct a fiberglass mold and copy it for everyone else who wants one. I want something removable and that fits on the right side (to balance out the weight when not removed). I'd be up for calculating interior volume and work on design if someone else is willing to lend their fabrication expertise.

I think we gots ourselves a nice little project. I'm not a fabrication expert, but I have tons of patience when it comes to stuff like this and an **** retentive eye for detail.

Hey, just let me know. Where you thinking of filling in the space in the bottom of the trunk? Or putting it on the side of the trunk (simular to Modena's old set up)?

I'm not sure. We'll just have to try out different setups. I was thinking about a corner box in the back of the trunk (a pyramid shape kinda), but I haven't had a chance to sit and stare at my empty trunk for about 3 hours and ponder like I usually do before a project.

P.S. I can't wait to get back in the Derty Lou and do some autocrossing and terrorize some nightclubs/bars with you guys.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing a similar thing. I'm pretty much the same way with projects, too. Especially with the car. Gotta keep 'er looking stock, remember?

i'm pumped for autox. I finally got to give her a decent hand wash yesterday. Now she's ready to lose to some STI's!

I'd be interested in this little sub box project. The Bose system could use a sub, but I think I'd put in a 10". I might rather spend the money on ms sways or an rb ecu reflash though...

I don't even know what my trunk looks like without the spare tire. I guess I'll remove that first then see what I am working with. Let me know when you guys want to meet to stare at trunk space and drink beer.

I've got a nice little 8" JL Audio micro sub in mine that works well filling in the lows, but I want something with a little more punch. I'd be happy to hand the little box off to someone at a decent price when I get a replacement.

Very cool. Modena and I looked into this sort of project a while back and as cool as it is, it doesn't fit into my "easily removable" theme. You'll definitely have to post pics of your progress, though. I love this setup. That passthrough was meant for two 8" subs!

I have two extra 10" rockford fosgate subs if anyone wants them...I'll take offers. I wouldn't mind also taking the subs I have in my trunk and splitting them from the single box in the the center to mounting each sub on either side of the trunk to open up the middle area. For those that have seen my trunk...you probably know what I am trying to do. Well, back to work...got to make sure that the beer keeps brewing here at Anheuser Busch so we have something to drink while staring at trunk space (as Chico stated).

Yeah, I got a contracting position that started back on Feb. 14. I work over in the BEC-IT department in Sunset Hills (Busch Entertainment Corporation). I test the theme park (Busch Gardens, Sea World, etc.) systems, pretty interesting job.
