I've always heard dont waste your time/money on intake unless it is forced and as far as exhaust it changes tone and that is about it.. unless you drop good money you wont get good power gains.. just my opinion..
ps. hughes you should stop by the bowl sunday and check out autocross.. i'll be there with mine.. it is a good time. if wanting to race another 8 around the cones crosses your mind registration closes at 10:15..

 

small town. the bowl? Is that in Bismarck? or devils lake because if there is autocross in biz i might acctually be down for that but devils lake is a bit of a drive for me.

TBH you didnt pick the best car to easily improve hp lol, you got the intake and exhast which combined will possibly get you 10-15 maybe... if you have the money you could turbo it but that isnt cheap by any means.

 

Kaiser, yeah the bowl in bismarck.. problem is I just got exhibition driving last night again and i just got my license back about a month ago.. so I might be taking it to court so that will drain my funds i have set aside for racing.. if my phone wasnt at the bottom of the lake this might be useful (3516260) but i wont get another until this court thing pans out.. just f*cked basically..

agreed with the above.. this isnt a car you grab and mod the **** out of well unless you got a line of credit i dont.. mazdatrix sells a super that i would purchase if i could..
other than that i would suggest saving your pennies for tires.. i put a rear set on every summer and only drive 7000 miles usually.. put the money you want for moding into good maintenance habbits.. you might not be as fast as someone else but you can rod the shlt out of it and it will still be going strong 50,000 down the road.

registration closes at 10:15 so you got to be there before that ill be there at 9:00 or before but im going to help set up and then ill walk the course a couple times.. I would suggest coming early and walking it too like 9:30.. it will make driving it way easier. oh and clean all the stuff out of your car

 

Well i won't be able to make it this sunday, but nice to know there is autocross in these parts lol. Go show the hondas what the rx8 can do lol.

 

haha right on i doubt ill race i cant really afford it insurance on these things drains my bank haha but ill deff go there maybe u could show me some things on my car like the damn lights in the front closest to the middle i dont know how to turn those ******* on like i seriously cant find anything about them online and i can not figure them out but ya just look for me ill be in the grey 8 with only the licence plate in the back

 

lol.. yeah my boy ty from bis. has a 2000 and was jacked to autox it and then i still beat him.. even when im a pretty shitty driver.. for me it is the 8 or nothing

 

the autox was fun thx for lettin me ride with ya ha had a blast got hella burnt though **** 102 degree weather
