thanks!, I'm a little hesitant on lowering my car or putting a front lip on it because i hear that during the winter my car will be hating me if its lowered. what kinda of precautions do you take during the winter will my car actually survive in Minot? what if i decided to boost it will it live? Do you park your car during the winter?

There was a crushed 8 here in fargo and he seemed to make it around just fine during the winter. Looked like he was on stock tires too but they could have been snow tires. I'm not sure. I wouldn't be afraid of lowering with just lowering springs. Just be careful of how and where you drive. And from what I have read, snow tires work wonders in the snow, so if you plan on driving in the winter, some would be a good investment.
As far as having a front lip, I am lowered with just the stock lip on my car and don't think i really ever rub anywhere. I am careful going up and down slants and over bumps. And if you are worried about pushing snow with it, if it's secured properly nothing should happen, unless you're trying to push through a hard snow drift, which I couldn't imagine you doing.

I got my eight in febuary the night before the one of the biggest blizzards in a few years, then 2 weeks after that there was another, and each time my car was stuck in my driveway for only about 3 days and im on stock tires so i would think you will be fine.

Are there nice roads north of Belfield? From what i can remember we would go on that road to go to williston and they were bumpy as hell but i guess it has been quite awhile...

oic, but i was acctually going to ask for future reference, how is the mazda dealer in Fargo? I ended up going to rapid city this weekend because the bismarck one blows... But my coolant light was going off when there was no problem, searched and found out it was common so i got a new tank and sensor under warranty.

mixed feelings on the dealership I guess. There is one guy that works on RX8's and they usually just let him handle them so that's kinda nice. I'd say they're good tho.
