any of you guys ever race any SS cobalts? i beat one pretty bad the other day but my car is bone stock...poor cobalt.

 

Ive seen many SS colbalts at autocrossing. those things are quick.

 

just saw a black RX8 on the road today.

 

Does anyone know of a tool who drives a turbocharged blue RX8 in Omaha?

I would like to speak to him about:

1. Him driving like an asshat tailgating, doing burnouts behind me, and passing me on a double solid yellow line 2 lane road.

2. Him almost crashing after he blew past a stop sign at 100+ mph.

3. Him getting his **** pushed in by my car on spring pressure.

 

i can already tell this guy is gonna give me a bad reputation when i finally get my car out here.

hey guys..any of you from Omaha have turbo set ups? im curious as to where you took your 8 to get work done. only place i know of is Sublime but they have a bad track record and ive heard of them screwing people over.

 

i'd like to know this too seeing how i just moved here. don't have my car here yet though. i like to do as much of my own work as i can.

 

Lol I'm pretty sure that was me. Right by NFM wasn't it? I'm from lincoln and I'm still a noob to the site but I've had my 05 GT for 2 years. I guess I didn't think to check for nebraska owner's til now.

 

yea, around that area. one intersection before NFM. the silver car made a uturn on the inside left turn lane, I was on the outside.

I also want to let you guys know, Steve Kan will be coming here next month. There will be a dyno day at $75 an hr and he will do tunes too. 200 down payment. It is 15 minutes north of me, Center Point IA.

 

watsup im new to this site from i live 30 min away from omaha i always see a silver eight driving around west o it looks pretty sick... and since im new i found one problem with my car when it still had the old tires on it i could burn out no problem now with my new tires ( goodwrench gforce tires) its got some wheel hop so is it just tires or could it be something else

def tires man...i used to do burnouts on winter tires on a warm day...switched back to summer and no more burnouts...plus im sure you know our cars arent really burnout machines

I dont think the cobalt ss are quick anyways i seen like a 01 cavalier beat one it was kind of sad lol i felt bad for the ss
but i hope theres not a whole bunch of people with 8s around here now our cars are still kindof exotic in this area if we have to many it will be just like another mustang driving down the road

Hey I'm not new to Omaha but new to the 8. Always up for a meet. Just shoot a PM if any one is interested.

 

i think someone needs to grab the reigns and set a date and time. if we can't get enough 8's i got a brother with an STI and he meets with the subie dudes frequently...maybe we could join them? rather have an 8 meet tho.
