Nebraska/Iowa Owners?
 

Anyone in Nebraska with an eight? I've seen alot around just trying to figure if any of those are members here on the board.

I live in Omaha and we had a meet this summer with a few Mitsubishi owners. I'd like to get more meets set up this summer and maybe a few autocross days at Mid America Center or Lincoln Airport.

So Nebraska/Iowa people report in and I'd like to gauge interest in a meet once the weather warms up.

Always down for a meet. Went to a few last year and I think we need to get more 8's together. Ive seen more around town and maybe we just need to spread the word more. I know there are people who dont even know that this site exsists. I know that I didnt. The only way I new is because someone with an 8 approached me. COME ON PEOPLE!!!!!:jump: Lets spread the word.

Im from iowa and our scene is kind of lame, pretty much gave up on meeting. Though im working on some track days for people that want to race. Though this aren't races..
You should check out Evolv or other surrounding areas.

Just let me know... I'm in lincoln, NE... every now and then, I drives up to Omaha... I think I've seen the red Rx-8 b4 while driving on I-80, but I was in a rented car driving back from Minnesota... Will be going up to Omaha on Feb 7th... Just let me know, if I'm free, I'll attend the meet-up

Would be nice to get a meet going somewhere in the middle of us, like around KC or something. I'd definitely be down for that. I usually head up to NE for the holidays, as that's where the family is. I can only do that 6 hour drive so many times haha.

Okay well since the weather is getting warmer I might try to plan an Omaha meet for anyone in the surrounding areas. Since RX8s are kinda scarce I might invite other Mazdas as well.

Hi there vX-2... I actually live in Lincoln right now for college. What color 8 do you drive I haven't seen any other 8s down there except for another red one.

Chalco is on 156th and Giles which is not far from the Sapp Bros. exit of I80.

Zorinsky has entrances on 156th and 168th between Q and Center... the main one is on 156th and R or something like that.

I drive a Dark Green Mica Rx-8. You should be able to spot me around the Antelope Valley Drive, Around the Stadium, and probably 13th & W.

There are quite a number of 8s that I've seen actually. There were 2 silvers, 1 yellow, 1 Red, 1 same color with mine (but texas plate) and another 1 with blue. And a new 2009 Rx-8 (white) that always around 27th street of walmart parking lot.

I think they're just not aware of the rx8club websites. LoLz

Hah I have seen that white 09 on 27th as well. I actually live sorta near that wal-mart. I'm at 27th and Fletcher. And I know who you are talking about probably with the winning blue 8 but he sold it and I don't think its in Lincoln anymore.

I might have seen your green 8 in the parking lot of Hy-Vee on 27th... do you ever go there? It was night and it took me a few minutes of staring before I could tell it was actually a nordic green and not a black haha

Haha! That could be some fun. I think I have seen your car. The friends I am staying with live in Two Springs 2, and I see a red 8 every day over here. I have also seen one on the base...at the gym a few times. Is that you? We are literally right around the corner here....my buddy has a grey rx8 and my white one is sitting in the driveway, about to be washed...again.

Nebraska City here. I've had my '04 VR for about a month now. Bought it from Woodhouse Omaha. My asap mod list: tint, have my sub and amp installed, get a few dents pounded out, aero kit. The wife and I are in Omaha or Lincoln every weekend cuz there ain't shat to do here. Goin to the Husker/Cyclones game this Saturday:ylsuper:

I still have my '04 winning blue. It spends lots of time in my garage in the Highlands except for road trips, autocross and some weekends.
You guys really ought to come out for the autocross events. Everyone is very welcoming and I'm getting tired of being the only one in BS at the small meets.

I actually tailed u once b4 at downtown lincoln (Walgreens and Wellsfargo intersection). You made a left turn and I went straight though. There was a girl/women in it as well. LoL !

AFAIK, I'm currently the only red FD around here so that was probably me. And I travel down to Lincoln occasionally. That would have been my daughter... she a sophomore at UNL.
