check you oil/fluids. and tires. Make sure your front bumper/under panel are secured properly.
We doing that trip in 2 weeks too.

me too i can't get on offutt cuz they are all anal about the front license plate b.s....my 8 is still in hibernation mode so you wont see me rolling around till we get warmer weather.

just took my R3 out yesterday and today and have been taking her out a couple times after the roads cleared up.
I saw a silver S1 today making a uturn on Pacific and 72nd.

all around my neighborhood and the streets surrounding, there's a wonderful layer of sand...i drive down the middle of my street to avoid it haha

It's got a fair chance. I understand there's a Corvette Club contingent who have the ear of a few senators. There's also the money saving aspect that can help sell it. They only have to pay to make one plate, but they'll still charge you as much as they did when they had to provide two. We'll see.:dunno:

Sweepers will be out in force this coming week around Bellevue. Then we need one good "gully washer" thunderstorm to clean up the rest. I'm most concerned about catching rocks in the windshield and beating up the front end.

the neighborhood has been swept and new wheels put on :)....i think a rotary meet wouldbe even better than just 8's.

Yesterday must have been a nice evening for a drive in Omaha, I saw three other 8's cruising on Dodge.

One of you with some power need to show up that guy in the pretty red RSX with carbon fiber fenders, he spanked me at a light the other day :D

I did drive up to omaha from lincoln yest. About 5pm-ish. Was only on dodge briefly....... the roads still have plenty of potholes :mad::mad: I was literally "dodging" them....

damn weather. I dont like wet roads.

any of you guys ever race any SS cobalts? i beat one pretty bad the other day but my car is bone stock...poor cobalt.

Ive seen many SS colbalts at autocrossing. those things are quick.

Does anyone know of a tool who drives a turbocharged blue RX8 in Omaha?

I would like to speak to him about:

1. Him driving like an asshat tailgating, doing burnouts behind me, and passing me on a double solid yellow line 2 lane road.

2. Him almost crashing after he blew past a stop sign at 100+ mph.

3. Him getting his shit pushed in by my car on spring pressure.

i can already tell this guy is gonna give me a bad reputation when i finally get my car out here.

hey guys..any of you from Omaha have turbo set ups? im curious as to where you took your 8 to get work done. only place i know of is Sublime but they have a bad track record and ive heard of them screwing people over.

i'd like to know this too seeing how i just moved here. don't have my car here yet though. i like to do as much of my own work as i can.

yea, around that area. one intersection before NFM. the silver car made a uturn on the inside left turn lane, I was on the outside.

watsup im new to this site from i live 30 min away from omaha i always see a silver eight driving around west o it looks pretty sick... and since im new i found one problem with my car when it still had the old tires on it i could burn out no problem now with my new tires ( goodwrench gforce tires) its got some wheel hop so is it just tires or could it be something else

def tires man...i used to do burnouts on winter tires on a warm day...switched back to summer and no more burnouts...plus im sure you know our cars arent really burnout machines :)

i think someone needs to grab the reigns and set a date and time. if we can't get enough 8's i got a brother with an STI and he meets with the subie dudes frequently...maybe we could join them? rather have an 8 meet tho.
