You need to disconnect your battery. I had to buy a new one this summer because I did not disconnect mine. Also some tires will flatspot if they sit all winter. Some people store on jackstands, but the flatspots usually go away with some miles.

I forgot the miles. But I am going back there again to look at another car.
I do remember the drive door will not open from the outside handle

Hey guys a fellow minnesotan here!
I've been following the site for awhile, but I now just decided to join up. I have an 04 sunlight silver GT and I live near Fergus Falls if any of you know it.

This will be my first winter with my RX8 and I just put some winter tires on it yesterday. I think the ideal situation would be to park it through the winter but it's just not an option for me right now.

dpends how much power and such you have on your car.. RWD with a lot of power just sucks in winter... I am driving it this winter and drove it last winter, without snow tires even... this year with, if we ever get snow that is...
i think it is easier to drive RWD in the winter anyways... and it's fun. just need to know how to handle the car

This car does great in the winter with winter tires and traction control.
It can be done without traction control but is much much safer with.
I found the 8 easier to drive in the snow than front wheel drive cars running all season tires.

It is about winter, and to be honest, I am rather terrified of driving my RX8 in the snow for the first time.
Here in Redwood Falls tonight, we already have an inch of snow on the roads. I took Friday off, because I am CHICKEN!
All my life, I have had front wheel drive cars, and for the last 10 years, I had a fantastic "all wheel drive" '98 Eclipse that never knew what snow was.
Giggle, I will soon learn how well an RX8 drives in the snow!
