if any of you are familiar with minnesota sports compact club.. there are frequent meetings every wednesday night here in plymouth/maple grove at the Culver's parking lot. not so much in the winter time. but come spring time or when it warms up with no snow, people will start showing up. huge parking lot, no hassles from anyone, i'll keep you guys posted if there is a meet soon.

anyone know any good shops up here in MN that know what they're doing with rotory motors? i've talked to people from Elite, RS Motorsports, Speed lab.. and they all kind of *shrug* we'll give it a shot we suppose... *sigh*

i dont really want to bring it to Chicago to get things done. im just planning ahead when i need my ECU retuned for .... some future goodies... after i research up everything of course lol

Bad Karm....i've been calling Tice's removal since last year and the only reason why we kept him was Red Mcombs was a cheap SOB...worse there is serious control problems on the team...PR nightmare...forget that sex boat cruise thing add in the Denny Green years of drugs and mayhem in Miami (what is with Miami ! and the team does not reflect the people of minnesota (and btw I'm no moralist...guys can do what they want but stupid idiots got caught and were never dealt with...it was sloppy).

So with Zygizzz in Skol Vikes land he'll clean up the show...make it hometown Minnesota friendly...he'll get a stadium and a nice one (not a shack like Red Mccombs would have settled for) and develop a new area around a stadium instead of demolishing an established area.

Now the Twins need to be sold as Pohlad is also a cheap SOB and the only thing hometown about the team are the players...but reality is we need a couple more bucks for a few players that polish off the team and can get us to the WS.

no shop in the state of MN is Rotary knowledgable...unless things have changed recently

a few shopes can install a Turbo and work with it a bit but forget dynoing tuning as they could really mess things up

talk to the North Star Rotary Rocket guys...a few of them have a nice private shop of their own and they do lots of work for themselves including 3rotor work for RX7...all of their work is RX7 related btw...but they fortunately have rotary experience

.................

hey ted what do you want to do????????????? email me

I can't say I haven't been thinking of learning more. The thing that scares me is if I start to learn it I will and have been getting deeper and deeper.

I say it is time to have a movie marathon and get Fray over with his 13b DVD Christmas present. :D

This forum is good but there isn't any deepness that book learning and experience can give.

Frankly the rotary engine entices me and amazes me on how it works.

alcimedes has some friends that are into 7s, also part of the Northstar Rotary Rockets here in Minnesota.

I think digging in and finding resources in the area is important.

Didn't there used to be a place called 7 Heaven? Something about the place to go for 7s is what I heard from a guy at work.

Anyone heard of it or something similar?

Heh, give me some time to clean up my house.. (man it's a pit..) And I'll be happy to host a viewing.

So when does everyone want to watch the stuff.. (takes about 3 hours to watch it all the way though.. so with intermissions and I'd assume lunch/dinner a good solid afternoon would work.)

BTW I'm in Bloomington near the Mall of America.. so it should be pretty easy for you all to find me.

So WHEN in Feb?

I figure a good month would allow me to clean my house and make it so there was some place to sit down.. (other then on top of random end tables and boxes)

I am thinking of going to Oahu in March but we may hit Kawai and Maui instead, I loved snorkeling in Hanama Bay. Seen 3 Moray eels, everytime I saw one it was darting out or within arms reach mouth open. Salt water was tasted each time I saw one. Ugly buggers. After my wife Amy had one coming at her she hung up the fins and watched from shore.

Which islands have you been to Bad Karma RX8? Any recomendations?
We are planning 3 days at one island and 7 at another any island our choice.

She has been to Maui and Oahu. I have only been to Oahu but we hit most everything the five days we were there. Mighty Mo was incredible!

It all depends on want you want to see. Each Island offers it's own unique flavor. If you haven't been to the big Island that is always a good choice as well.

I definitely want to do more snorkeling.

The bikes in Hawaii would be nice too.

Scenery with cliffs and waterfalls

Which island other than Oahu has enough stuff to do not to get bored in 7 days?

Next which would be good for about 3 days?

They all have nice beaches. Kuau'i is more of a rain forest in areas, but with some stunning cliffs. Oahu, Maui are both about the same. Big Island, good beaches, hiking, Hawai Volcano's National Park. To much to do.
