Final MN RX-8 Drive Before Winter

Sorry for such short notice. Champa (Speedrx8er) is moving to Virginia and Joseph (Papajoey) is going to be in town from North Dakota, plus it may snow next week.

-The plan, meet at the Fuddruckers on Hwy 394 (Louisiana exit, located on South side of Hwy in St. Louis Park, directions below)
-THIS Saturday, November 12th at 1pm.
-We'll hang around and chat RX-8 stuff and if you want u can grab a drink or snack.
-At 2pm we'll take a drive.

The drive route is not fully determined yet but it will be 1 to 1.5 hours (you can leave midstream if you need to).
We have a few routes we are looking at, Lake Minnetonka area/Long Lake near Baker Park as well...any ideas would be greatly appreciated but nothing too elaborate

When the drive is complete we'll meet up again at a location that will be determined by the route but close to Hwy 394/494 area and schmooze some more.

As always bring a friend/significant other in the car if you want (or more .
I'll be bringing a camera and feel free to bring yours too, one day we'll have a website, I swear .

I can't make it this weekend, but if you guys need a hand getting a separate web site setup I might be able to do something.. it would be nice to have a whole forum to ourselves rather than just one thread with 60 pages of replies ;-)

holy **** Champ, I've been actually planning that out in my head for a while...we could all be a powerful team...to bad part of that potential team is moving to virginia
I even spoke about it at dinner tonight.

 

We could name it Gr8t IT Service.

The only trouble I see is in the winter time we might get prank calls to see if we will come out in a 3 feet of snow. Coarse then we can drive 88 Oldsmobile in the winter.

I've been thinking about building a server to host the forum but then figured I'll just use my wifes computer

Wonder if she would notice. When I password protect her from logging in and disabling the power button.

You guys may not realize it but I merged my company this spring with the commercial spinoff of the Geek Squad, Techies Network Task Force. Robert Stevens, the guy who started the Geek Squad, is still a shareholder. Instead of Beatles, we have 9 Black Toyota Matrix's - woot... not. They suck.

Geek Squad sucks now - but the legacy guys that I merged with are pretty good. At board meeting I tease Robert about the Geek Squad sucking. He can't really complain though - Best Buy is treating him well!

Robert is actually a huge car fan. He liked my 8 but drives Audi's.
