Don't know if I'm a little late lol but just picked up an rx8 and from eagan.

 

LOL.... Whats wrong with the Facebook group? I am part of the group. Well its not for every one. I see new people from MN on here all the time but not many go with the Facebook group. It would be nice to set up a meet this weekend. Maybe Saturday? I live in White bear Lake. An no Baltmeplease its not to late tell us about your RX.

Im just messing around. I dont have the Facebook so I have never been apart of the group.

 

For now just exhaust cai what are good exhaust systems and cai. I have heard that these can make you lose hp also that for exhaust I don't want back pressure?

 

Then make a facebook account and join. It's much more convenient, and it's easier to keep track of events. Checking facebook with your phone is easier than checking this also.

We will have a meet soon, we hibernate during the winter. Our rotards don't like snow. (I drive mine in the winter, but most others don't.)

Using this outdated forum makes me feel like I'm in highschool.

 

The Mazdaspeed or the AEM intake are good start points. They are the same thing..and any reputable brand exhaust is good on our cars. Just stay away from the eBay stuff. Its a waste of money for cheap parts when they don't last and you have to buy the nice stuff eventually.

Pay close attention to the parts for sale section on here. Most guys on the site take care of their stuff and those are things you could really save some money on buying used.

 

I feel the opposite. Facebook=High school. I will never make a Facebook. Why would you want to leave the site anyway? Any information regarding our cars is here..

 

I have to agree. I guess I don't have anything against the facebook group and it's great for scheduleing events but you're going to learn a lot more about your car and have more meaningful discussions in a forum. I guess there is a use for both.

 

Exactly, Just post the events on here. Then we are all good to go.

And for the other guys, this forum was made for rx8 in the US in general; there is no separate section for us Minnesotans. So the FB group is our MNRX club, this is not.

It's up to you guys to join the club. But I am not posting events on here, because we already have 131 members on the FB group; and it's a hassle to keep up with both groups. Last 2 years, we only have 20-30 active members; and it's already a mess to set up events. So I'm not even sure how this year will be like.

If any other member of the club feels like posting about the events for you guys, they are more than welcomed of course.

My advice would be use this if you need infos about the car, but join the facebook group to keep up with events.

Slammed VR on Bronze battles?

 

I saw a VR on my way home from work on 169. Just bought it I think. I believe it was the VR that was parked at Unique.

 

Couldn't tell it was in the opposite lane the divider got in the way.

 

Had to of been the all stock one I saw too. I dont go by a divider on my way home. I head south towards Mankato. I think your talking more north up 169.

 

Hey guys! So what are your summer project plans?

 

Question for you all. Can I get a suggestion for a rotary shop in MN/ND/SD? I live in Fargo right now and the only place i've been able to find that works on rotaries is TurboBlown just outside of Minneapolis. I would rather not have to take a 3 hour drive so the closer the better.

What do you have for suggestions?

 

there's a mazda dealership right in fargo, otherwise some of the guys at tintmasters have rx7's that they race at top end dragways. maybe they could help you out depending on what you need.
