We got a nice taste of summer today. Even saw a couple of 8s in the area. Time to wash and detail the car now.

Very cool! I got my car mostly back together after a Winter's worth of mods and managed to drive it around the block yesterday without incident.

And today - SNOW!

Well the only rotary specific shop I know of is chips motor sports and from what I've read on here, they do good work. Hopefully someone else will chime in and help you out more.

Checking in. Just bought my 8 in March. Drove down to Ohio to snag it, super clean GT with nav and only had 44k miles on it. Anyway, looking to meet some more 8 owners and get an idea of who knows what that are doing concerning shops in the area. I'm in Clinton township/macomb area.

Found a screw in my rear tire this morning. Belle tire won't fix it because they say it's too close to the sidewall. The tires are almost brand new and a new one will run me 280. And I need to fix it by sunday. I kind of think belle tire is just trying to sell me a new tire. There is a good half inch from the screw to the sidewall.

If you have the OEM RE-40's, I have a couple spare useable ones that I'll likely never use. I think I'll be in Detroit area Sat evening or could maybe arrange an earlier dropoff. Tip: See what the tire goes for on Tirerack.com - go through the order process without pushing the pay button and print out that invoice. Discount Tire will match that price, which will save a bunch of money. If you want to mount one of mine temporarily until you can get a new replacement at a decent price, that's ok too. I know you want to get out with the group to Grand Ledge on Sunday. Tread depths are 7 & 9/32nds.

Thank you but they are Michelin Pilots. I ended up taking it to an independent tire shop and had it patched. The owner told me he guarantees the patch for the life of the tire and I shouldn't worry about it at all. So hopefully, it will be ok.
