Very cool! When winter goes away, I'd like to get a baseline compression check and dyno run.
BTW, your website has an issue. Clicking your link gives your homepage as it should. But once there, clicking on "Home" gives a connection error - you might point that out to your web guru.

Thanks a tonne for helping out today. The car is peachy. I feel better knowing the clutch bracket is welded too. Weather was pretty brutal on the way home.
Your 7 is completely awesome btw.

Dam I hate the cold.....
Keep an eye on this thread, something will pop up, it's pretty quiet in the winter.
We are going to have a meet in feb in Windsor, if you don't mind coming over the border.
You should join up here also.

When the weather gets warmer there will be a nice cruise!

the michigan rotary club is a great place to meet other people who love the rotary engine. They are planning a big club meet in the spring time. The date is tbd still. They also have other random gatherings or reasons to hang out. The rx8 club is great for being able to provide a larger amount of information on the rx8 specifically. Definitely join the michiganrotaryclub.com forum for local gatherings. We would love to meet you in person.
Moseph, I can't believe I haven't seen you around either. I did see a velocity red a few weeks ago though on ford road and I saw a gray one today. Thanks for all the replies everyone. I'm excited to be a member of this community. I wouldn't mind going over to windsor either, I have family there. I will definitely be checking out the michigan rotary club. I can't wait until the weather warms up a bit so I can finally drive my car.
It came with a set of michelin pilots from the previous owner. I think the pilots are "all season" tires. I've driven in the snow a couple of times, it was pretty stable as long as I was gentle on the gas. Moseph, do you drive it in the winter? If so, where do you go to get it washed?
side note...watch out for fire hydrants and those cement pedestrian poles hidden under the snow... my friend learned the hard way..
