I'm down for whenever. I got SHOWOFF who is nice enough to install my Borla exhaust for me this friday, and got my new strakes from rotary13b1 or watever its named since my originals went to crap. He rocks too.
Yay for RX-8 owners, haha.

Hey guys, I have 2 Michelin Pilot's sitting in my garage that are 225/45/18 (or whatever the stock size is for the RX-8) that I need to get rid of. They have a good bit of tread left on them (probably 60% or so) and are far from the tread wear bars still. If anyone wants them, $50 and they're yours. These tires are $200+ each brand new IIRC. I just want them gone. lol

I am hereby reviving this thread. I just ordered a set of GTC01 wheels used, and got an awesome deal, however one wheel has a little curb rash on the lip, nothing crazy. Anyone know anywhere local I can take this bad boy to get fixed?

well looks as though you will be having another 8 come to Kansas, as well as a 7. I am moving to FT. Riley in February, and hope to meet new people with similar interests and stuff.

GameGuy, not sure. A buddy of mine had a wheel fixed though, I'll give him a call tomorrow.
So is that 3 for a meet?
Trevor - welcome to the midwest! Ft Riley is NOT close to KC though.

re: Sadlers
Indoor karting joint in Olathe. It's decent considering it's about the only place to kart reasonably close.
Parking lot meet/kart night is what I was suggesting.

Welcome! Glad to have another member in the area. I hope you enjoy your 8 as much as I really enjoy mine. There are many here in the forum who you can chat with if you do want to make mods to the car.
Have you thought much about winter snow driving? You purchased yours about the time to start thinking about how that is going to work. The normal Potenza RE040 that come on the car rarely do well when it snows at all.
Since I don't drive my car to work on a regular basis, I could afford to park it in the garage when it snows, and wait for it to clear. Others are not so lucky. And they've had to take steps to get through the winter time.
