Just signed up for the July 17th CGI Motorsports driving school at Gingerman. Anyone else interested in going out?

Got any more details Joe? Cost, requirements, etc.

I had an instructor from CGI with me on the one track event I did last year, and I think he mentioned that event.

According to CGI's website, cost is $175. The only requirement is a helmet, valid driver's license and insurance (oh, and a car). Best price on helmets I have found is about $150 from Summit racing (my old SA90 helmet is apparently too old).

 

I've already got a 2000 helmet.

It sounds like a really awesome deal, 7 sessions altogether.

Not sure if I have the cash or can get the approval to do it, though... still have time...

I might sign up for this event. I ran Gingerman with CGI last October. Great group of people and 7 track sessions is a ton of track time.

I'm heading to Gingerman this Sunday with CVO. Still openings available. I'm also heading to Gingerman June 24-25 with Windy City BMW club.
