Gingerman Raceway. Open Track Time
Gingerman is in south haven michigan (southwest michigan near lake MI).
they have open track time in summer tue wed thurs from 5 tilll dark.
about 60 bucks and you need helmet.
my best track time was 146 last year. this year i will have the turbo and MS suspension on and i am curious how i will do in comparison.
anyone have a gingerman time of their own?

He's pretty insane though. He is super heavy on the brakes (sometimes waiting until the 1 flag to brake) and he's been known to go through several sets of rotors per year.
He's actually starting his own driving school just to get more track time and to pay for parts for his car.
I'm probably doing a DE there in early summer with the Windy City BMW club. After I do the DE and learn the line, I might hit up the evening sessions with some friends. I'm a newbie though.
How were you timing your laps? Stopwatch?

stopwatch. its funny, i mentioned 1.46...before my upgrades (flywheel, chip, underdrive pulleys and hi flow cat), my times were about 1.55. i hope to shave off 10 more seconds and end up in the mid 1.30's.

Do they do it for you? I'm a newbie so I don't know.

i use a stopwatch in the car, or have someone watching time me.
i likce to time my self each lap so i can immediately know what idid the last lap affected my lap time.
