Get the lawyer! Don't contest the guilt or innocents, just try to get the offence reduced. It's not just the fine. Its the points (as you stated in the other post) and the hyjacking of your insurance rates. A lawyer could be well worth the money.

I feel for ya..I got my speeding ticket 2 weeks after I got my 8. 75mph on 294..at 1 am. I would say thats pretty average on normal nights. Either way that's not the worst part. I was changing the cd 5 minutes after I got pulled over and a huge torn up tire was on the highway. Looked up..too late and cracked the hell out of the appearance package. 3 weeks after I got the car. Worst night of my life

OK folks, I just went ahead and made some decisions so we can get everyone situated. I'd still love to do Chicago Indoor Racing sometime, so let's keep that one for a meet soon!!!

I'll be at Monday's meet at Portillos for sure... looking forward to finally meeting everyone (and seeing some folks again). Can't do the downtown meet as I have to pick up family at O'Hare.

i have yet to hear anyone bash a car at a meet ... for real! even when we go to schaumburg (race city usa) and see a lot of "heavily modded" civics!!!

WOOT WOOT!! I'm finally here!! You don't even want to hear the horror story of my flight.

hey anyone coming to the suburbs meets on monday and can pick ajax up from around UIC area? or if he takes the train, can you drop him off after the meet?
