Final pics and there's that Volkswagon again! LOL! Well I enjoyed doing this, and hope to do more in the future! I'm already thinking of ideas for next spring. And by then we may almost double the amount of members that we have now as long as we continue to advertise! Peace Out Homies!

I spent the weekend driving in Southern Wisconsin and found some awesome twisty roads in the Mt. Horeb and New Glaurus area. We should do a EVOLV-Chicago spring drive up there. The roads there are quite fun and better than anything you'll find in Illinois.
There are also lots of good touristy things to do up in that area. For example, House on the Rock, Taliesmin (Frank Lloyd Wright's Wisconsin home), Cave of the Mounds, Little Norway, etc... New Glaurus is a former Swiss settlement and is a neat little town with Chalet style architecture.
If we want to do a drive, I'd be happy to set one up including laying down some ground rules so that we can do it safely.
On a total unrelated topic, my father drove the Tail of the Dragon last weekend in his 69 Jaguar E type.

I was up in the Dell's this weekend. $300 hotel suites are going for less that $100. Didn't see an other 8. Couldn't have car fun either due to WIC (wife in car). I started to take a ramp at 2x the recomended speed on the yellow sign and all too familure noises erupted from the right side of the car. It wasn't a mechanical noise. 
I did get the rarely heard from a wife,"I'm wrong, I'm sorry" on this trip.

Yes, I had the WIC as well. It was even worse than usual since it was raining almost the whole time I was there and the roads were wet.
