due to the big meet in indy this weekend (everyone should go), im going to cancel the mini meet, but if any one wants to go wash and wax there car ill do that after work on friday, i get home around 6

foe everyone going to INDY those out of state members/guests - even out of county - they just
posted on the news this morning that ALL the police dept here in the county
just kicked off "dangerous driver" task forces... they will be agressively
pulling over agressive drivers... There are target intersections around town
as well that that the are especially focusing on.. and yep, 2 of them are
on the south side of town where we will all be...
65/Southport Rd/Emerson Avenue and US 31/Stop 11

It appears that they are mainly doing is targeting interstections where
there are high accident rates. Pretty much, if you're driving in town,
keep to the speed limit, dont tail gate, and what ever you do - if you dont
think you can get thru the intersection before the red light comes on ...
DONT DO IT! Two min into it this morning ON the morning news - saw them
pull over their first guy on one of their north side for just that very thing, and
you could see him in the background, he just barely didnt make it and off
they went after him... They also pointed out using turn signals ...

I went down for the INDY RX8 Club meet yesterday, what a great event! Everyone was friendly, the event was well organized, and the turn out was great. What a great group of people! I hope to have the time to attend more events that they put on in the future. I took Lauren (my 10 yr old) and she had a great day as well.

The only negative about the whole day was that it is a long drive (from North of Chicago).

Those guys (and girls) put on a great event.

How does a dyno day sound? I was going to go to one out here in Madison but I would think it would be more fun to have a dyno meet. I'm not from Chicago so I won't be able to set this up since I don't know of any shops in the area. I just want to throw the idea out there.

Damn I wish I didn't miss this, I was on the opposite side those days down in St. Louis, Missouri for a NOPI event. Nice pics though, hope to be at the Spring Fling on April 26.

I don't know of anyone that has taken a rotary to GRD. But, they just move into a new location that is about a mile from my home. I know P&L has extensive experience & a long association with Cobb Tunning Accessport.

 

Importshowoff84 was talking about setting up a dyno day at performance autoworks in plainfield. I met him there one day and they seemed very willing to do it.

ok guys to go with the cruise coming up saturday im hosting a bar-b-q its going to be at busse woods ( right next to woodfield mall). How this is going to work is, I will do all the cooking unless some people enjoy it as much as me then ill share. I will also supply all the charcoal. this is going to be a bring your own meet and drinks event. what i need from others is a few volunteers to bring plates and napkins maby some condiments. this thing is going to kick off around noon. then we can have a mini cruise to the cruise point. if anyone has questions you can call me at 315-523-0914 7am-830am and 5pm-midnight other wise you can just pm me.

also im thinking about doing a raffel in the next few months. its going to be anywere from 0-600 dollars so send me some ideas and we will do a poll.

If I was using the AccessPORT to control my engine then I would definately like to go to P&L but since it doesn't seem to want to work in my setup I am pretty open to a location. I just need to get everything up and running with a tune first.
