Chicago Rotary - JGTCA/NotFWD Combined Meet and Cruise : Sept 22nd.
The meet-up location will be Culver's of Darien beginning at 5 PM. Cruise will follow at about 8:30 PM. The cruise is a series of roads in the S.W. Suburbs. I have driven this route and it is enjoyable.
Meet-Up Location will be:
Culver's of Darien
541 Plainfield Rd
Darien, IL 60561
(630) 734-0400

The name of the route for the cruise is "Cesar's Peak". It is about 5 miles from the meet location. All participants are requested to keep cruise routes confidential, as we'd all like to be able to come back.
This post will be edited for up-to-date information and schedule changes.

Hey, I've been a crappy organizer lately. Sorrrrrrry!!!!
Anything you want posted up, please send me a PM with the details. It's too hard to read every post and try to figure out if anyone's going to anything or not. Allen, I'll get your thing up now. Mark, are you guys going to the car show? I saw that trophy Red Devil won ... I laughed when I saw the muscle car on the top!!! :D

Are you talking about the cruise you just posted up? I think I am going to try to get over to that for the cruise but RedDevil, MDW and myself have an engagement around 5 that evening already.
RSD,
Yeah, as mac said - he, myself, and RD are going to go to that car show for a bit. Probably around 5. Didn't make it an official meet because we may not stay super long. Gotta meet somebody and then we might try to head out to Al's meet. Although that will mean driving down 75th street... ugh... stoplights... shouldn't be too bad on a saturday though.

Those times are subject to change by Ty. Those are the times from last Saturdays meet. This Saturdays meet isn't posted up yet on NotFWD.com.
Would 63rd St. workout any better? 63rd St is Hobson Rd. further west. 95th St should work out good.

Probably as broad as its long. I don't think 95th goes all the way through.
It's not a big deal. On saturday traffic shouldn't be too bad. I'm used to it - there are a lot of spots that there is no good way to get to from out here.

I am planning to be at the meet, but I am now a member of the 3rd engine club. The dealer discovered that coolant was leaking into the rear rotor. I'm styling in a Mazda Tribute. Maybe I will shotgun with someone.

Wow Al... wtf? 3 engines, and how many cats? 3? I've abused the hell outta my 8 for almost 4 years now, and yet I can't claim any of these stats. You should be on Mazda's QC staff ; )

I'm on cat #5, engine #3 also a trans rebuild and numerous plug, coil & wire replacements.
Trans rebuild @ 12K miles.
Engine #1 replaced @ 13K miles.
Engine #2 replaced @ 36K miles.
There have been several people, on this board, that have had their engine replaced twice.

I'm ready for a Russky invasion. I have sniper skills. Scoped rifle, lots of ammo and gillie suit. I'm good for a 500 yd. head shot.
