I plan on being there. I'll be in my RX7.

Hopefully I'll be able to rally a few more of the local rotary guys to come down as well. As of right now, it should be a decent turnout.

BDC will be in Cincy tuning a few of our cars that weekend. We hope to be able to cruise down afterward and meet up with everyone.

 

I definitely have this on the calendar. As far as I know, the details on page 1 of this thread are still good.

I'm having issues with my suspension, my endlinks are bent up from faulty install from an aftermarket shop i went to. So it's up in the air at this point if i'll be able to attend with my rx8, but i'm still comming down to check it out anyways. I'll probably be driving my mom's car.

do we know about the cruise? i mean do we know or have any ideas where are we going.... I was looking at the map and i notice that us50 which is the road that goes along the river in ohio would be nice..
we can go either west or east and its a good long twisty road....
anybody any ideas?

 

now i really can't go for any of it, due to a scheduling error at work, i'm now working from 12:30-8:30 on saturday.

 

us50 is not that exciting, yes lots of turns, but lots of red lights too. that's east or west. it would be a nightmare to keep any caravan greater then 10 together dealing with all the lights.

lol, you could have an endurance race, the i275-hundred, first one to pit for anything but gas looses.

i would lead on some back roads in SE indy if i wasn't working. damn scheduling f-up

 

The i-275 endurance race sounds good, but I want to go on alot of twisties and test out the new suspension!

But im down for anything!

 

how about US 8 from newport heading East through belleveu and dayton on 6th ave all the way to almost Mentor.
make right onto Smith road towards Flagg Spring and then back on to AA hwy until alexandria parkway up to 471N and back to newport!!

anybody has any other idea? is this fair?

Here is the route i'd lead on if i didn't have to work, it's about 40 minutes from Western hills,

I'll give you the turn by turn if you want to punch it to a map generators yourself
it's pretty damn fun to run
highly recomend having someone run it be for saturday if you choose this route

damn work issues, it's been a while since i've been able to attack the twisties due to work and now my car's suspension
but hopefully i'll be in one piece again by friday.

what are the final details?

 

I dont think I'm going to make it. There's a burning plastic smell coming from my engine bay/front wheel wells and I dont what it is. Im getting my windows tinted in the morning then its going to the shop if I can get it in. Might anyone know what the problem is?

 

I am still in....I had to move my Dyno run to the 30th which is the following Saturday. I have been waiting for this since I bought my car almost three years ago....I know my way around the area and I know of a really good twisty if anyone is up for it....It is off of the AA highway if anone knows where that is, but highway sounds good too....Keep me posted....

 

what twisty are referring to? I know the AA pretty well

 

You know the new Mac D's they just built by Waffle House? Well you go through that light and then I beleive it is the first street on the right....I can't remember the name but I will check it out and get back to ya....me and my friends always take our bikes down there.

about the plastic smell.. dont worry too much about it! it happened to me before. our CATs run pretty hot so now and then.... if you drive over a plastic bag, it will get stock there... there is no way to fix the smell soon. you will be stock with that smell for at least one month.

We are meeting at 3pm in the parking lot across from the Hofbrahaus. And I guess we will discuss what route we are going to take for the cruise. If there is anything I missed, please post it so everyone can recieve the information.

It was good to meet everyone that showed up. We need a bigger turnout next time. But that cruise was a great time! We need to set something up for next month and see if we can get more people to show up!
